Xbox Live's 1 vs 100 Beta this May

A newly released video on the Canadian Xbox Live Marketplace has revealed that a beta phase for Xbox Live's interactive show "1 vs 100" will start on May 9th.

Buzz:Quiz Tv was ruined by it for me... My first time playing I was doing well I was first then in the last round you have as much time as you want(pretty much) and get to gamble 500 points to either win or lose depending on your answer. The guy who was coming last with almost no correct answers then gambled 500 on every question and got them all right.

No. To be honest nobody has seen it but this is definately a custom application and uses 360 avatars.

I hope the game is at least free to play for all gold subscribers. I don't mind ingame advertising for stuff like this and with real prizes, MS would get thousands upon thousands of people playing, it'd pay itself off easily.

Real prizes don't have to be anything really major, either. 100 MS points or something, that to me is realistic and a great incentive to play.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think I recall that these type of community games were only to be released for USA and Canada. Maybe my memory is false, I sure do hope so.

I'm from Europe myself. Norway to be exact. Us in Scandinavia hasn't even got the Video Marketplace yet. I mean we can download a few old music videoes and a couple of videoes like RvB and The Guild, but we don't have the opportunity to download whole movies or TV shows or anything.

So I wouldn't hold my breath for this community gaming channel (don't remember the name of the channel right now) to come to Europe. I'm sure the main reason would be that TV Shows like 1 vs 100 has alot to do with rights and so forth. We have the snow here in Norway, but it's called something else and there are other TV networks etc.

I just hope that they bring 1 vs 100 and other games like that to Europe in the future. It's not fun to be left out, but I know MS isn't doing it for the heck of it. Maybe Xbox Live in itself couldn't handle too many millions logged on at the same time playing COD, Halo and 1 vs 100 at the same time. I guess the avatar games would take alot of resourses of Live because it's intergrated into the dashboard and the "NXE" thing that has got the guide and the Marketplace slower is a proof of that Live can't handle too much at one time.
