AndyGoes writes, "As far as the gameplay goes, the driving mechanics are hardly believable and can only be described as laughable. The slamming and special moves aside, the handling of the vehicles on turns is ridiculous and driving to the stop point causes your vehicle to immediately stop. I LOVED that demo and I can't wait to get this game. It's stupid, blow em up fun that's not supposed to be taken realistically or seriously. If you want realism, go play Forza Motorsport. If you want to have fun, play Wheelman.

I'm rather hoping it will do well as Midway are in big trouble right now and I fear for Midway Newcastle (who are developing it) if it turns out a big flop.
Maybe the Vin Diesal tie-in will help shift a few boxes..
