but what surprise me is that these critics said it was worst than the first Street Fighter Movie!!! The first one!!! How could that happen in this day and ago of technology?

IdleLeeSiuLung5569d ago

wow! the bar was set pretty low with the previous SF movie. This one beat it to be even worse.... that is a feat in itself!!!

Baka-akaB5569d ago

Easy you make a movie that got even less to do with Street Fighter than the first horrid one .

At least the first "tried" , albeit in a way closer to unvolontary parody than anything else .

Doppy5569d ago

I truly did want this to be a good movie, even after the dreadful commercials. They said Kirsten did a good job as Chun-Li, and that's the only good thing about the movie. It's a complete shame, and the people at Capcom and the producer should have stopped this atrocity once they saw how bad and cheesy it was turning out to be.

BigKev455569d ago

HAHAHAHA, at least the new game is great.

specialguest5569d ago

What a shame. Who's the director of this movie? Let me know so that I can shake my fist vigorously at him.

Legionaire20055569d ago

Andrzej Bartkowiak he directed Speed and that horrible game movie Doom. Speed was his only good movie, just go look on rottentomatoes.com. Man I was going to see this tomorrow but I think I will change my mind after watching Doom I don't trust this.

specialguest5569d ago

How does he go from directing Speed which is one of the most thrilling movies of that time, to Doom? Sometimes it really sucks how time can change people.

Information Minister5569d ago (Edited 5569d ago )

"Speed" was directed by Jan de Bont, who also directed "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life".

Andrzej Bartkowiak was only the director of photography in "Speed" but he did direct the "Doom" movie as well as "Romeo Must Die".

Not that these facts change anything. Both of them haven't done anything right since "Speed".

Foxgod5569d ago

Since your the information minister of Iraq, shouldnt you be claiming that the street fighter movie does not suck, and is setting new records at the box office ? :)

Leadweight5569d ago

both speed and speed 2 were directed by Jan de Bont!@!

CobraKai5569d ago

Adrzej was the cinematographer for Speed

Easy not enough developpers to add content to the game (palworld)

Profchaos1d 5h ago

That's the thing with gaming there's always new experiences to have why spend months or years playing a single game when there's a new experience right around the corner.

Indie or AAA if your building your game expecting long term player counts you'll probably be disappointed as gamers often enjoy something for a few weeks and move on only to return if it's truely a classic.

Out of all the generations I've experienced there's games from 30 plus years ago I still dust off and play like super Mario bros, earthbound, vice city and san Andreas being games I treasure and revisit every few years but I'm not going back to play a game designed to keep me engaged for months on end because it's also designed to milk my wallet in most cases.

Build a great game that people love make it playable offline and ask does it matter if the concurrent player count is under 100 a year post launch more often that not it doesn't

The price of entry is too high to take chances like I used to. Was looking at V Rising and that ranges from $50-$130 CAD. That’s a lot for an indie imo. By the time it goes on sale, the player count might be dwindling. But that’s the trade-off, I guess.

Si-Fly23h ago

I’m glad my preference is single player experiences, Indie devs got me covered 👊🏻
