It is one of the best action-adventure games to date. Lost Planet, was one of the first 360 games to show what true next-gen graphics/tech can do and look like. There were some minor issues with the first games knock down animation and lame story but the online MP really shined.

Edit: Disagress but no reply, must be searching for how many consoles LP1 help sell when it came out. Or maybe because I didn't mention the PS3/PC version. Hmm. One of the best Action-Adventure games to date. Can't be that because I said ONE OF and even said ONE OF the first True Next-gen Graphics. Maybe its because they enjoyed the knock down animation and lame story.

This game looks amazing the 1st was a Great Game. I like the Mechs and the Boss fights. Huge Big Azz Monsters & Great Explosion Effects.

The game have good story but of course because the 2nd its coming to Xbox360 1st no wonder why in the PS3 fans point of view the game sux! right? Sometimes i wish that the developers of the games get a chance to access all those negatives comments from all those PS3 gamers on all those well received games on Xbox 360 that are great by the way and make an important decision. Do i port it to PS3 or not? mmm... they are bashing and its just a 40% mmm? Because from what i been reading from almost every PS3 gamer here on N4G its that games like this sux and its a waste of time to buy it and play it on their God PS3. Well here is a good question ¿Why do you care so much then and read their reviews and post comments bashing those games? Do you like Lost Planet? Do i care if you like it? All i know its that i like the 1st Lost Planet and i can't wait for this one. This one looks better. PS3 couldn't run this game, the first LP was around 30% inferior on the PS3 with the older build of the engine and LP2 using a newer superior version.

Sony needs 5 years, millions and millions of dollars and a dev team of hundreds to get a game to "almost* look like a game on the 360 in its alpha stage lol.

LP2 is just the start.

I played the first LP in a image copy on my pc and the game wasn't good, I don't know if you guys praise it because it was on 360 first or just because you are butthurted about your "precious" exclusives made multi because they sucked a$$

but seriously, I enjoyed the game even if it was on my pc but it didn't left me the taste to play a second part.

this game looks absolutely beautiful. Never played the first but this one might get me interested. The first got average reviews, but have faith in capcom. They're kicking so much ass. At this early stage, the only thing that needs work is animation-thats a good thing!

Yea Capcom is really trying giving EA and activision some stiff competition and this is the main reason why I think LP2 is coming to the ps3. Capcom games look beautiful graphically, some of the best looking games this generation.

I really liked the first one. LP2 looks to take a lot of the fan feedback from the first and improve greatly on it. Not to mention the MT Framework 2.0 engine looks gorgeous.

Famitsu is the #1 gaming magazine in Japan. If they say "only 360" then it's either a timed or complete 360 exclusive. My guess is that Capcom wants Gears or Halo style success with MS backing them. MS does a ton for Epic to promote Gears 1 & 2. None of Capcom's HD multiplats combined sales have approached either Gears 2 or Halo 3 numbers so it makes sense.

MS needs an exclusive shooter this year not named Halo: Recon and Capcom would love to have their own Gears of War. MS probably previewed the build, liked what they saw, and gave it the go. Think of Lost Planet 2's creator, Jun Takeuchi, as Cliffy B 2009.

Very early game that came out, now that the Fanbase is larger, I feel like Capcom will listen to the fans and make this game a hit.

The user-base is there for it... and it looks good already.

The controls were good, it had multiplayer (Worldwide), you use cool Mech suits, shoot down nasty hives and huge Monsters, now who else is gonna give you that type of game this gen?

seems im the one of the few that truly cares, IMO this will be a timed exclusive like the first. timed only cuz they will work on the PS3 port after they finish the 360 version. by the time this comes out, Kratos will have already taken over the world.

GOW3/Kratos will be taking over TWO things...jack and sh1t. Just like with MGS4, GT5:P, LBP...and soon KZ2...PS3 exclusives fail to live up to their hype. The sad thing is, the hype generally comes from the PS3/Sony fans...yet most of them end up ignoring the games. Capcom has made a TON more $$ off the 360 this gen, as well as most other devs/publishers. GOW3 will be the most awesome game...to sell less than both it's predecessors.
