It's a shame there wasn't much info as to why Garriot left and his stake in the game afterwards, and it is strange how TR could simply fail. But I suppose, like the blogger Scott: that TR was just released in a time it wasn't needed and it took too long to get out. On the plus side, NCSoft did try to reach for the stars by trying to incorporate US and Korea players. That's for true. I can only surmise that it would take the strength of mountains to get Koreans off of Starcraft and on something else.

Most recently it was PlayStation Home, a game that no-one apparently played but which still managed to have millions of inhabitants waiting out their own personal apocalypse on the last day.
