Are we surprised such a great game is still... well... great?
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
The Resident Evil 4 remake's director has revealed in a recent documentary that the game was riddled with bugs in its final month before launch.
Not a big surprise really. All games are pretty rough until the very end and everything is released with bugs regardless of how the consumer quantifies it as being “polished.”
That’s sort of how game development or any kind of software development goes. Looking for bugs and debugging, QA, and trying to scramble and polish everything before a deadline’s up.
Obviously remakes are doing well, so the companies are making money, and Gen X gamers like myself can relive awesome gaming memories with much improved controls, and graphics. They are a good thing, and probably make enough money to push companies to take new chances.
"Gaming's Unbalanced Obsession"
idk about all that. It's not that much of a head-scratcher to guess that RE4 Remake was going to sell well, when the original is one of the most successful games of all time and has already been re-released a dozen or so times. Who's obsession is it? Gamers wanting to play an all but guaranteed excellent game, or publishers/devs deciding the most cost effective way to make even more money is to sell us something familiar? To quote Todd: we'll stop re-releasing Skyrim when people stop buying it. He said that during a decade long period of no new Bethesda Softworks titles.
Sounds to me, the issue isn't so much an obsession with remakes, it's an obsession with not wanting to put all your eggs into one innovative new IP laden basket. It's capitalist manipulation of the market that causes a remake to be the best selling game of the year, and innovative new titles get relegated to "underrated gem" lists 3 years later, even though most gamers would probably say they want to play a new experience.
TLDR, games are successful because people want to play them, and sometimes games are unsuccessful because the publisher has next to no faith in the product.
It’s not being obsessed it’s being untalented. Most of the time it’s because they can’t come up with anything new. Hollywood is the same way. Auto design is the same way. Our modern elites are highly unimpressive people. It’s because their priorities appeal to the lowest common denominator and superficial garbage instead of reaching for excellence.
RE4 re is fine. It deserved a remake. Capcom just came out with village which is new. It’s not milking its just respect.
