This month’s EDGE review scores include Resident Evil 4, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and more.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 4 remake sales are now at over 7 million units, Street Fighter 6 is at 3.3 million and more.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
I’d say 8 is good for RE4… it’s great and I’d give it a 9, but I’m okay with it getting an 8.
EDGE gave Final Fantasy X a 6/10 at its time ... soo yeah.
Again, all these scores are irrelevant and falling for false nostalgia. While the overall remake is decent and updated for modern hardware (not that well actually), the game is an overall a failure to the real fans. Not to mention all modern reviews praising RE4 as a legendary game (which it is) are dishonest in saying it was universally loved!
TRUTH: RE4 was actually divisive amongst the true RE fans upon realize. Despite being a awesome game in its own right (gameplay wise), many fans rightly predicted it would help degrade the franchise into mediocre action for future titles...which came true. So RE4's legacy does hold some blame for the future miss that happened.
I can only speak for ps5 for what I have, although my complaints are true across other platforms from what I can see. Anyway, despite the new controls Leon's movement is worse than in the original. His actual movement control is clunky with a noticeable input lag (he runs past the input of the control stick). For a game that really works best with player positioning, this is terrible. Even worse is the unforgiveable amount of cut content: no U3 boss, Assignment Ada/Separate Ways game modes are gone, no laser sights for proper aiming (except pistol upgrades), separate paths section of main story is removed, missing weapons ("flame gernades, PRL") with no alternatives provided, missing costumes (no non DLC unlockable Leon Ganster suite). Not only did they charge modern full prices for a Remake, but technically released it with less content than the original (payed DLC excuse is a disgrace)!
