Official Nintendo magazine UK has revealed some new screens of the Mario basketball game for the DS which is due for release in September and they look very nice. They also reveal how the controls will work via the touch screen.

Chris Buffa (Modojo): For the most part, Nintendo takes great care of its mascot, Mario. The famous plumber has starred in well over 100 games across a variety of different platforms, much to the delight of fans that follow the character's every move.
I didn't even know there was a mario pinball. guess it was that bad. sonic pinball on genesis was a classic, however.
Hotel Mario was the most horrid mario game that i have ever played. Double dash was also pretty bad. And as for portable mario games i never played a bad one before.
Chris Buffa (Modojo): Now that the cold weather's gone, it's time to head outside and enjoy the sunshine. Perhaps you'll go for a jog, shoot hoops and do a little gardening.
Of course, if the thought of working up a sweat sounds unappealing, you can always kick back with a Nintendo handheld and play your favorite Mario themed sports game.
