No they just want the 160m install base… it’s obvious it’s all about the money and it always will be.

seanpitt231074d ago (Edited 1074d ago )

Nothing wrong with it.. I don’t know why they don’t just say how it is instead of making some BS up, money comes first instead of pushing gaming further with the new hardware.

The graphics don't even look that good 😂

Companies will never publicly admit they prioritized making money or delivering a quality product no matter how obvious it is.

It’s a business not a charity

jBlakeeper1074d ago

Acting like it’s for any other reason than the install base on last gen is hilarious. Only releasing on next gen right now means losing out on millions of dollars. Everything is about money in some way or another.

Profchaos1074d ago

If it wasn't about the money we would have no video game industry. Devs, publishers etc don't do this out of the kindness of their hearts. They only abandon a platform when absolutely nessecery why ditch 150 million PS consoles and an unknown quantity of xcbox console for next gen which is combined like 20 million units max and gamers struggling to actually upgrade.

We won't see exclusive titles for a few more years

TheExecutioner1074d ago

Of course, they are right ... they cannot ignore a large number of players who could not afford PS5/XSX like you. not to mention that majority could not get their hands on the next-gen due to shortage.

Cant wait for devs to ditch previous gen.

Footage looks great that i saw, though i wonder if that was pc footage or ps5 and XSX

4k60 is nice but i would want a fidelity 30fps option seeing as everyone wants 2 options except i seem to be the odd one out prefering fidelity.

of course they are. they cant rely on current gen alone, if they wanna make bank.
nothing wrong with that

Dirty_Lemons1074d ago

When this excuse is given it literally translates to "more money". Can't fault them but this is a big issue for next gen gaming - it takes a few years before the majority of games become true next gen only, as for now they're still trying to pull in those millions of PS4/Xbone players.

I really enjoyed Good Job game...too bad that they are closing

mastershredder1d 12h ago

Considering the level of games they made, I'm surprised that more than 2 people worked there. 45 people (+ outsourcing) making mediocre mobile games, like cut the rope. I mean dude....Nintendo stooped to new lows in quality development and entertainment standards.

thats so crazy haha.

it will never disappear.

darksky3d ago

The more they try to stop it, the more publicity it gets. The fact is that Yuzu will forever live on torrent and other sites. Nintendo is fighting an uphill battle.

Inverno3d ago

Another 8,500 will take their place. Smh

PRIMORDUS3d ago

There is nothing stopping these people from working on Yuzu clones and sharing them on torrent sites. Nintendo or anyone else cannot do shit about torrents or usenet.

lucasnooker3d ago

lol Nintendo keep fighting this but it never ends. Why do they feel the need to persist? I guess they are in too deep now they have to
