Team Cherry is hard at work on Hollow Knight: Silksong, the follow-up to the developer’s acclaimed action-adventure game. Eventually, there’ll come a time when the studio’s focus shifts to a different project entirely.
The wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong has been particularly arduous, but Team Cherry can keep it under wraps for a bit longer still.
The upcoming Hollow Knight: Silksong has a chance to change up the formula from the first game in a unique way by giving Hornet her own armory.
Hollow Knight: Silksong’s new collectible that succeeds the popular Grubs has the potential to deepen the mysteries of the new world.
That sounds very interesting. I'll definitely give it a try if I have the chance.
First one is such a GREAT GAME!
hopefully whats next is an actually good game
They will most likely add free updates for 1-2 years again, I wish them that Hollow Knight 2 becomes again a big success and maybe they can expand their "Hollow" Universe with a Kart game eventually
I still need to replay the original game. I believe I got through the third Pantheon before giving up on the fourth, and I couldn't beat Radiance either, so I'm sitting at 111% completion, which is frustrating as heck, considering I did absolutely everything else, including getting the Hunter's Mark. I figure, I need to go back through and go the other route with the Grim Troupe, as much as I love the Child.
But...I may not get to that before this sequel comes out, so I may as well just play this when it's available. Who knows, maybe doing so will be the kick I need to replay the first game. Silksong and The Binding of Isaac Repentance are sure to steal a lot of my time when they release, so I'd best prepare for that.
