This is a tough one! Vote for your favourite at the bottom of the article! 🎮😄

Personally, I liked both games, however, if I had to pick one I would definitely choose FF VI as the better game since IMHO it had a much more interesting story and I prefer games like that, although to be fair Chrono Trigger does have a decent story but it did not grab me as much as FF VI did.

Triggered Time is my favorite especially because I was playing it while every one else else was playing Link to the past

Just let me have both for crying out loud!

crazyaejay1845d ago

They're both incredible, that's for sure.

Nice Tim & Eric avatar. That sketch is one of their best.

Seraphim1845d ago

Breath of Fire!! Seriously tho, all 3 are true classics.

For some this must be like asking me which I love most, FFVII or Xenogears? my answer in a question such as this would be I can't put one above the other as those 2 are my all time favorite games & I love both equally, so in the end there is no reason to force yourself to choose, answer is both! :)

VideoChums1844d ago

We actually did Xenogears vs. Grandia earlier this year: https://videochums.com/arti...

Both are fantastic 2.5D RPGs. 😄

Vanfernal1844d ago

I have to give the nod to FFVI because Kefka is a better villain than Lavos. But it's definitely a tough call.

VideoChums1844d ago

Yes, and it's weird that both villains actually end up destroying the world. They're more similar than you'd think. 🤔

Calling Ubisoft a leader in open world gaming at any point in time would be like calling Dollar General a leader in retail.

excaliburps4m ago

Well, to be fair, they did pump out good open world games before. It was used as a template so much that people now know what it means when you say it's like an Ubi open world collectahon.

isarai10h ago

You were never the leader bro 🤣

shinoff21838h ago(Edited 8h ago)

I don't think they were ever the leader tbh. I've never really cared for any of their open world games. I do wanna try watch dogs 2 because it looks like it's set in San Fran. Looked interesting
