I think it's safe to assume that Anthem, Battlefield V, Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey will be at the MS conference

BadElf2170d ago

True. Add Metro to that list as well for sure

shinoff21832169d ago

They can have the games at their conference cause I know they are coming to ps4 atleast. Save sonys show for mostly exclusives, I'm cool with that

EDKICK2169d ago (Edited 2169d ago )

I don't think we see Anthem or Metro again, they seem to go for reveals. Cyberpunk, AC Odyssey, Battlefield V, and Rocksteady's game is what I think we'll see personally. Avengers is also possible but I think Square might keep it for their conference only.

I know Rocksteady had Arkham Knight on Sony's stage but since they already have Spiderman they may not want another superhero game distracting from their first party game.

Lokii2169d ago

I'm certain that assassin's creed won't be at the ms conference. Since they swap companies for every assassin game released.

Atticus_finch2169d ago

I hope they do or it will be a very quick conference.

Lokii2167d ago

Looks like I was right. Again

Hopefully Xbox, to see it running on the One X!

Ricegum2170d ago

But it'd be better if they had their own conference and showed it running on PC.

stamps16462170d ago (Edited 2170d ago )

I would have to agree, I actually want CDPR to have a bigger stage presence to show off their next big IP.

DialgaMarine2169d ago

It’d be kindof silly to have an entire conference devoted to one game.

Though I guess to be fair, Nintendo might as well have done that with BotW a couple years ago lol

ocelot072169d ago (Edited 2169d ago )

Yes I want it to be shown at the PC Gaming show. I want to see it running at 4K 60FPS! But it will most likely show up on Microsoft's stage. But still that does not mean it can't pop up on the PC gaming show I suppose.

ClanPsi12169d ago

Is there no PC conference this year?

FGHFGHFGH2169d ago

It would be shown on pc at xbox conference

Liqu1d2169d ago

They might show it on PC anyway and pass it off as One X gameplay like they did with Metro last year.

My guess is probably Microsoft. They had a good thing going with witcher 1 and 2 except 3 though when they fired shots at the xbox one which was pretty random. But anything could happen and they wouldn't do time exclusive cause they've stated why they wouldn't

Activision team is opening a new game studio in Poland 'Elsewhere Entertainment' to build new AAA IP

Microsoft's Activision subsidiary announced today that it is opening a new game development studio to take advantage of the huge talent pool growing in Poland. It'll be the second Activision studio based in the region, joining Infinity Ward Krakow, although this studio is, in fact, not working on Call of Duty.

Still waiting for its first patch which is worrying. I know it’s been a single man developer but there’s really no excuse for no updates being released since launch. I’ve been part of many single developer releases that are updated daily, sometimes hourly. This’s hasn’t had a single one yet….

Ubisoft says they are focusing on two "core verticals," and that's to return as a leader in the open world genre, and live service games.

Calling Ubisoft a leader in open world gaming at any point in time would be like calling Dollar General a leader in retail.

excaliburps13h ago

Well, to be fair, they did pump out good open world games before. It was used as a template so much that people now know what it means when you say it's like an Ubi open world collectahon.

shinoff218311h ago

What though? I can't think of one game they had where I liked anything about it. Atleast since the ps3/360 Gen

Kornholic11h ago

If they have never been the leader in open world gaming, then explain me this: why does almost every open world game follow the same tired old Ubisoft open world formula?

Follow the Leader.

isarai1d ago

You were never the leader bro 🤣

shinoff218322h ago(Edited 22h ago)

I don't think they were ever the leader tbh. I've never really cared for any of their open world games. I do wanna try watch dogs 2 because it looks like it's set in San Fran. Looked interesting
