Fallout 4 VR Could Be Coming To PlayStation VR After All

Both Doom VFR and Skyrim VR were announced for PlayStation 4 (PlayStation VR) at E3, but Fallout 4 was only confirmed to be releasing HTC Vive, however it looks like Fallout 4 could also be coming to PlayStation VR.

It's going to have to be scaled back one way or another because PSVR has to accomodate the lowest common denomiator, the regular PS4.

Seems to me that it would just be a matter of turning down effects and graphics. Once you let yourself get into a VR game those things don't matter quite as much as the experience of being the character.

It's the whole Skyrim Game including dlc and the whole Fallout Game reworked("remade" in your words) for VR. It isn't a new game, but you do have to buy the VR versions.

VR support has been added to the game but they are selling it as a completely separate game for full price again....

i wonder how much would Bethesda tone down the graphics for this though. Fallout 4 runs at 30fps so the VR version would probably miss a lot of stuff.

Skyrim VR is a day one purchase for me. Same for Fallout 4 if it comes to psvr.

Hopefully it's true. With SKYRIM Vr being a psvr timed exclusive at the moment. Maybe fallout 4 is simply a timed exclusive for the vive. Then sometime next year fallout vr releases on and skyrim on vive.

Is Skyrim seriously a timed exclusive? I hate that crap, anybody with a headset should be able to enjoy it on release. It's annoying enough just on regular games but VR is just starting to get on its feet.

Yup not been announced for Vive yet. But I have no doubt it will arrive on PC next year. It makes sense to be honest. Have a team work on Fallout 4 VR for PC and optimize it fully. Have another do Skyrim for PSVR and optimize it fully. Then once both have been released one team works on Fallout 4 VR for PSVR and the other works on Skyrim VR for Vive.

Okay, that actually makes sense when you break it down like that. I thought it was some crap marketing deal or something. I don't even have my PSVR yet and I don't game on PC or even have one strong enough for VR or anything, timed exclusive crap just bugs me. Lol

I'll probably get the PSVR around when Skyrim comes out because that could be badass in VR, it would be the cherry on top if this ended up on there too.

Yer am getting a PSVR at the end of the year as well. Ill have a lot of titles to choose from come November including Skyrim and Doom VR.
