Mrs Nesbitt from NerdHub writes: "I was having some lunch with my brother and friends and we all became reminiscent of our favourite pastime; video-games. I really enjoy looking back at some titles that I played a lot of back in the day so check out some gaming gems that should put your nostalgic goggles firmly in place"
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
GUN was a PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox game that jumped to Xbox 360 with very few adjustments, starting a trend that still exits today.
GF365: "These are the best games based on movies. Every entry on this list will be a great video game adaptation of popular movies."
I feel so nostalgic reading this! So many memories
I remember getting such glee from burning enemy soldiers with the flamethrower in Army Men: Sarge's Heroes. Man I was a bastard when gaming even then :)
My friend and I used to play Army Men 3D all the time
Gun was a lot of fun, played it on my PS2. Those seeking it today can get the Xbox 360 version. It's improved though barely because it was a near-launch port.
Flatout 2 was another forgotten gem but was overshadowed by Burnout. Soundtrack alone was worth full retail. Motley Crue, Rob Zombie, Wolfmother and much more. They just released the 4th game made by a different dev and rviews have said it's decent but doesn't capture the magic from the original devs.
