It'd better not be a bare bones service then. Nintendo needs to aggressively work to make sure that NN can stand up to par to PSN and XBL. Only then could say the lower subscription cost would be a huge selling point
Saying it is easy. Making it true and worthwhile is another thing.
I'm really glad to hear that because Nintendo has a lot of good properties and if any company needs to be using downloadable content to maintain the life of their titles and should be Nintendo many of their games only released one time through a generation and I believe its user base would absolutely love purchasing downloadable content for lots of their titles.
If they support their games just like they did with Mario Kart and Smash Brothers I welcome what they do with this business model as I believe it's in a model that they have neglected for an extremely extremely long time.
it was not to the benefit of the consumer or even to Nintendo neglect this.
I personally believe this company has neglected hundreds of millions if not possibly even billions that they could have earned over the last 10 years if they actually really had a proper infrastructure for their online simply because their games are supported long-term and have long tails of support.
