Kojima is a master, imo. It seems like his shackles have been removed and he has freedom to create something other than MG's (even though I absolutely love Metal Gear games). I'm glad it looks even better than the last reveal. Fantastic.

I haven't played this obviously so that's making assumptions but I played MGS4 and that in itself was innovative at the the time hence my comment. I knew MGS5 wouldn't be because it never gave that vibe and Hideo was not given the freedom to do the game he wanted (I mean the issues between him and Kanomi at this point were made public :) )

If you ACTUALLY cared for the truth, you would know all of what I'm about to tell you. But you don't give a crap, you're here to further that ulterior motive of yours.

1) It's not coming to the PC. That was withdrawn.

2) It's using a first-party Sony studios' engine, so it's never going to other platforms unless Sony says it can.

3) Kojima is using every single part of the PS4's hardware / peripheral for this game (including PSVR), so it's going to be extremely bespoke. If Konami never brought MGS4 to any other platform after all these years, Death Stranding, a first-party SIE property, is not following suit.

3) It's a third person character action game, just like most of Kojima's released games in the past. Go figure. The fact that you're even entertaining that it has the potential to be a point-and-click game in the comment above is extremely telling to how obtuse you are about anything and everything Sony.

Absolutely stunning visually....fantastic job...and I really like the acting choices...and the setting is interesting. But I'm still concerned that it looks like Kojima is continuing his trend over being OVERLY artistic and not adding anything to the game...that cutscene could have been half as long and just as effective...MGS5 was fantastic in gameplay, but every aspect where Kojima had a direct hand in the game it sucked. It's still early, but I hope they don't skimp on gameplay to turn this into just a weird overly artistic mess that isn't fun.

The trailer was amazing. It's way out the box and I love the fact that I can't easily guess what type of game or story I'm getting. Lots of games have been cookie cutters of other games. Kojima is using pure creativity and he is not being held back. Being allowed to use two great actors scream that Sony handed him a blank check.

My point exactly but nobody cares about that. Instead people instantly point out that they think I'm anti PS which is completely false. Love God of War, TLOU, and Killzone. My feelings are I have no idea what this is and to be frank it looks quite stupid to me. Just my opinion but I love how it makes some people salty. Really glad Kojima convinced Del Toro to come back. Makes me wonder if Junji Ito is also involved. Seems to have a similar feel to Gyo in its use of necrobiological technology.
