Of course, the standard PS4 version isn't even using the benefits of the console either. Why are these unproven hacks constantly being talked up in this way?

When Uncharted 2 came out on PS3, people assumed the console was being maxed out. Then Uncharted 3 came out and blew people away............then The Last of Us and the same thing again. Does anybody honestly think the first major game by Naughty Dog on the standard PS4, Uncharted 4, is maxing out the console? It isn't.
Wait until a developer like ND, who have proven themselves, are talking about the PS4 and what it is capable of and THEN listen. I don't give a rat's what this FF team has to say about it and I don't see why anybody would.

Army_of_Darkness2755d ago

Only a handful of companies can do what ND does lol...
SE should at least up the fps to 60 on the pro version. That along with 1080p would convince me to get it for the pro immediately!

SirBradders2755d ago

True that but all games are universal, if you buy for OG you get PRO version when you pop in the disk or load digitally.

Big_Game_Hunters2755d ago (Edited 2755d ago )

You mean make a linear game look good?
I know Crytek did it with Rise son of Rome, and RAD with the Order, i guess they can do what ND does.

Movefasta19932755d ago

it's an open world rpg with dynamic lighting,wildlife,cities/towns ,variety of different environments and sharp character models.... this looks way more impressive than anything naughty dog have created. But go ahead DISLIKE.

nommers2754d ago

I like. It's a hard pill to swallow for some but true, the combat is also much more process intensive and complex, and interesting and unique. :D

Because shooters

LAWSON722755d ago

Personally UC2 was the mind blowing one, UC1 as well. UC3 and TLOU are minor improvements.

Elda2755d ago

Folks here know this already.

JoeDG2755d ago

"The version you saw at Tokyo Game Show was a demo to get an idea of what the PS4 Pro. It was a version that we had made expressly for the event with only purely graphical improvements. The game itself was not necessarily improved, it was purely cosmetic. So, in the final PS4 Pro version changes will still be different, but clearly the version PS4 Pro will bring a more visually."

Thats bad News....

freshslicepizza2755d ago

sounds like a bit misleading to regular ps4 owners then if they thought that was how the game is going to look.

deathtok2755d ago

This is at least the third article on this on N4G.

Glad that I absolutely can't stand subscription services.

Petebloodyonion26d ago (Edited 26d ago )

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

SonyStyled26d ago

Pay-per-view was almost cheaper than the cost of gas and rental fee from Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn’t exist today. Are you being sarcastic?

Final Fantasy XV Review – A Royal Road Trip

Gary Green said: With my fondness for (most) Final Fantasy games and my side goal of finishing off games in my collection with loose ends, a return to Final Fantasy XV seemed inevitable. It also serves as my third Final Fantasy platinum trophy after VII and VIII, a reasonable substitute since Final Fantasy IX is nigh on impossible to master.

Final Fantasy 15 director reveals why he left Square Enix, and announces he's working on 2 new JRPGs

Final Fantasy 15's director has revealed why he left Square Enix back in 2018.

Hajime Tabata famously resigned from Square Enix two years after Final Fantasy 15 shipped in 2016. In a special livestream at the time, Tabata announced his decision to resign from the company, cancelling three of four new story-focused DLC episodes for Final Fantasy 15 in the process.

FF15 is like FF13 its subjective people either like it or hate it.

raWfodog158d ago

I liked it. I haven’t played the royale edition yet but I’ll get around to it one day.

gold_drake158d ago

no no, 15 wasnt trash.

15 had a tremendous difficult development.

FinalFantasyFanatic156d ago

I really believe 13 was better put together and more complete than 15 ever was.

EternalTitan157d ago

Found the pathetic troll.
How is your jobless life going?
Dot worry, you will never get a job or a girlfriend haha!

Hofstaderman158d ago

Man inherited a train wreck and was expected to release this game in under two years after it spent a better part of a decade in development hell. At one point there was even plans to make FFXIII Versus a musical. He did what he could.

TheColbertinator158d ago

I didn't care much for XV and I always wanted the original vision of Versus XIII but I think the dev team did what they could to salvage the project

Inverno157d ago

And yet people still blame him for the game turning out the way it did, rather than SE for the horrible mismanagement of 13 and Namura for being overly ambitious.

Dwarrior158d ago

Whatever the behind-the-scenes went on over the many years, at the end of the day it was a radical change in direction that I could not go along with. Also why I never bought 16.

gold_drake158d ago

this is also why Sakaguchi (spelling) left.
