TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is a Perfect FPS

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "Let me take you back to a simpler time – 2005. It was here that 50 Cent asked us to visit his Candy Shop and we still thought that Revenge of the Sith could turn our decent. Ah we were so innocent! This was also the year that TimeSplitters: Future Perfect made it’s way onto the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube..."

Now that;s one game I'd like to see remastered - infact the whole franchise.

Immorals2793d ago

Look up Timesplitters rewind, it's a fan made remaster of all 3 games for PC and consoles. Gonna take a long time as it's a passion project, though!

Shame we don't have a TimeSplitters 4

Krimmson2793d ago

Apparently, the reason why we don't have TS4 is because the marketers had no idea who to put on the boxart. Seriously, a friggin boxart prevented Timesplitters 4 from happening.

O-D-C2793d ago

Really? I had never heard that. That's even more depressing.

3 was great but preferred number 2... much less EA ;) who got involved for publishing on 3rd one and they clearly put their opinions in as well.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

Looking back to 2005 with Timesplitters: Future Perfect - Back to the Future

Darren writes: "Wacky, cheeky and above all else a laugh from start to finish is my best attempt to sum up this game. Timesplitters: Future Perfect was a worthy sequel to its predecessors. What the world needs right now is more of this, so while we hope and pray for the fourth game this is a title that deserves another look."

Timesplitters and Legacy of Kain are my main two

Back on the OG PS, there was an excellent action game for The Ghost in the Shell. I'd love to see a remake/remaster of that.
