Without any warning, Rockstar Games has released PlayStation 2 game Red Dead Revolver PS4 in Australia. US and Europe launch should happen tomorrow.
Released in 2004, Red Dead Revolver stands as a testament to Rockstar Games' ability to transcend genres and immerse players in captivating narratives. While it may not share the sprawling open-world characteristics of its successor, "Red Dead Redemption," this PlayStation 2 title holds a unique place in gaming history. The game originally started as a concept made by Capcom before being picked up by Rockstar Games.
Eleven games from the original Xbox were added to the old marketplace, including some Rockstar classics like Max Payne, Manhunt and Red Dead Revolver.
It's pretty clear at this point that Xbox are about to drop a bunch of new backwards compatible games for the 20th anniversary.
TechRaptor writes, "With Red Dead Redemption 2 on the way, I figured it was time to check out the original. No, not Red Dead Redemption, but rather Red Dead Revolver."
"Cons
Paper-Thin Story with Boring Characters
Game Becomes Frustrating
Too Many Bad Boss Fights
Showdown Mode is Barebones
Bad Voice Acting"
funny, that's exactly what i thought about red dead redemption.
hoping i enjoy the second one because the first one,i played it last year for the first time, was boring as hell.
dated i guess. maybe that would have been a better con then expecting a game of that style to hold up in today's market.

Red dead 1 is still fun, never boring, wrong word to use for and old game. it would have been boring for you back in 2010 as well if it's boring now.
Great story in red dead 1.
World is still beautiful and most of all very atmospheric.
Good voice acting.
That's why I say stay away from red dead redemption 2, it's gonna be boring for you, you ride around and look at the world and then stuff happens, that's it, just like red dead 1.
You are just not and open world guy.
Not a lot of people liked Red Dead Revolver, but just watch some people band wagon on this game because of its more famous sequel
I want the Xbox version, the PS2 was inferior.
Was shit then and is shit now.
Never actually got to play revolver..can anyone tell me if its worth getting ☺
The music was great but the game had some serious control issues especially when it came to fisticuffs.
