Kojima Productions on Death Stranding’s development; will introduce a “new genre”

Kojima Productions have issued a statement on the development of their forthcoming title Death Stranding, which features The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, on Twitter.

So NPS (naked person shooter) is a new genre? Cos I'm pretty sure modders have been 'playing' those sorts games for some time.

True NPS have been done by PC before but never with naked babies involved.

TBH as much as I like art in vedio games this CGI trailer was creepy and having two naked bodies at E3 was a little disturbing.

If anyone else said that I wouldn't believe them, but I have faith in Kojima. If the actual game is anything like the trailer it will be the first art-house game for sure. That said, mainstream audiences will definitely not "get" it.

I already dont get his games. I mean I like them but all his games get really weird or convulated at some point. The fact is he does storytelling and gameplay so good and his game actually have this great feel to them
until he that's point in story where things get super weird or confusing and he throws everything out the window for the sake of a shock or twist

At the time of mgs creation, he envisioned an action game where u hide. Thats where the stealth genre came

Time travel seems to be a thing, very Terminator, a guy called YongYea looks into these things with pretty good detail, too little is known to say anything except take Koji's word for it.
