Five original Xbox games that would work on Xbox One

In 2001 Microsoft decided they wanted a slice of the videogame business and the Xbox was launched, changing the face of gaming forever. While relatively short lived, the original Xbox paved away for the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. The rest is history. While many franchises that appeared on the original Xbox made the transition to 360 in later sequels, a few were left behind.

The original XBox had an x86_32 architecture (32-bit 733 MHz, custom Intel Pentium III) so I would expect it would be fairly easy for Microsoft to develop an emulator for the XB1, that is if Microsoft gave the go-ahead.

I really liked Obi Wan on Xbox. One of my favorite Star Wars games, I must admit...lol

The first Xbox had a bunch of great Star Wars titles... the 'Knights of the Old Republic' games were brilliant, as was Pandemic's take on 'Battlefront' - not to mention 'Republic Commando' and 'Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy'.

One could argue it was the golden-age for Star Wars games - Last-gen's best Star Wars titles were Lego-based and DICE'S current-gen 'Battlefront' was not the game I was looking for... That said, Bioware are working on a new Star Wars project, and Visceral's game with Amy Hennig has potential.

My old Xbox is long-gone, but I still enjoy going back and replaying the KOTORs (via 360BC) - especially since they appear to have 'survived' the extended-universe's reboot (with references popping-up in 'Rebels' episodes, as well as 'The Force Awakens')... the MMO isn't bad, but they're still my ultimate Star Wars games.

I just want them to make orginal Xbox BC too. I have Evil Dead Regeneration that I still own. It was a great game for fans of Evil Dead and probably the only one worth playing as a game.

Evil Dead Regeneration is the best movie IP game I have ever played next to Spiderman 2. I really wish they would make another Evil Dead like this. It was funny, it had tons of puzzles, awesome boss battles, great dialog. It was something unique and out of left field. I loved it!

It is pretty great. I think about that game every time I talk about BC. Its too bad the game didn't score or sell well. It was only $20 brand new back then. It was like watching a new Evil Dead saga. Even Sam Rami helped to write it. Glad to find another fan. :)
