So happy to see R&C doing so well though. I'm on New Game + and I'm having a blast with the RYNO. It's so addicting and it is extremely satisfying collecting those tasty little bolts of joy.

I hope that the success of R&C will cause a resurgence in platformers, and I hope developers realize how crucial platformers are in creating an amazing game that's fun for both children AND adults.

I doubt PC digital sales added much to the overall sales for Quantum Break as it's on Windows Store with UWP.

Also, PS4 won the month and Sony hasn't even commented yet, which is pretty funny. They might be waiting to make a statement regarding PS4's overall sales and Uncharted 4's figures.

I think it made sense for buyers to hold on and wait for Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle since the release was pushed back two weeks into a the next month. That's why PS4 sells slowed down IMO
I know if I would have waited for the bundle if I didn't have a PS4 yet.

I remember Greenburg & other Xbox division execs speaking about QB pre orders being crazy high/sold more than past new Microsoft IPs.QB coming in at the #7 spot tells us those other new exclusives sold like pure crap.

Microsoft would have that stat but as they've shown they don't intend to release solid numbers.

As has been pointed out QB never breaking the top 5 is pretty telling, even if only via retail. It currently sits at 33 on Amazon as a best seller... Just for gaming. On Xbox One. Then competing with other games for XOne.

QB is tanking worse than Rise of the Tomb Raider which sits at 30 but is roughly six months older than QB. This is speaking statistically of course as statistics can be drawn from many sources.

I feel like Microsoft is like the kid who gets a trophy for "effort" these days. Not trying to bash on MS, but that's just been the way it's been with them and their exclusives this gen. I'm sure they did fantastic with QB, but they have not had their fans supporting their exclusives by... buying them..

I think that maybe I just see it that way now because Sony is sooo far ahead and have double the install base, along with Sony fans actually buying their exclusives.

No, people don't buy it because they view it as an inferior purchase to the PS4. They aren't "gullible", they are smart.
