Nintendo are releasing a new console next March but they haven’t said what it is or what it’ll do – but we can take a good guess. Despite hosting some great games, the Wii U console has been a sales flop ever since it was released. And now, after months of rumours, Nintendo has confirmed […]
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has already cemented its legacy through its sprawling open world and commitment to player freedom.
Yesterday I was playing and there was a puzzle with two gears, (one moving and one stationary) and I couldn’t figure out how to get the stationary gear moving .
I took my spear and stuck it against moving gear and it transferred the motion to the stationary gear and that solved the puzzle.
I was so shocked I went online to see what was the intended way to solve this and I didn’t see anyone solve it quite the way I did (from the few videos I watched).
I definitely believe that this “intuitive” gameplay is the future of game design.
Nintendo may be working on a brand new Legend of Zelda game featuring Zelda as the main character, based on a new rumor.
It works
The cycle of hatred can't always be exactly the same
Maybe in one reincarnation the Hyrule family name their son Link in honour of Hylia's chosen hero and some village woman name their daughter Zelda in honour of Princess Zelda from the old tales of the lands past.
This rumor, or variants of it, appears pretty much every time there is a gap with a non-announced Zelda game in the works. So I would take it with a grain of salt."
That said, I have always wanted a game where you play as her. Not exactly a "Zelda game", mind you, I always see her making more sense in something like a city builder/management or strategy game.
There's a rumor that another Zelda Musou game in the works. I'd sooner believe that one over this.
A character select screen would work just fine. If RPG developers, with far more complex gameplay everything, have been able to do this, why is Nintendo still dragging their feet?
This ain't Baldur's Gate nor Morrowind, so lets get to it already.
"The Warsaw-based (Poland) indie games publisher and deveöpåer RedDeer today announced with great joy and excitement that their frantic hotel management sim "Hotel Hustle", is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
i find the idea of the nx as a re-designed and re-branded wiiu strangely appealing. sort of like how the wii was really just a souped up gamecube. allowing full backwards compatibility but with a little more power. i suppose the same is true between the wii and wiiu.
i just hope the nx is affordable. backwards compatibility is vital to me
I personally think there is a home console we haven't seen which will act as a standard traditional home console with normal controllers, then these rumours of a dual handheld system I think it'll be like an extended version of Sega Dreamcasts VMU unit so that you have either a second screen or a completely separate and useable elsewhere (handheld) but if at home it's either a second screen or touch screen with maybe shoulder buttons but it'll have secondary modes or smaller iPhone type games for this device (with just the screen that's been rumoured and faked) but yeah exciting times either way, Nintendo always do something different and first and foremost fun and worth playing.
