This is the second Sony's owned IP coming to PC after Helldrivers, maybe recently Steam leak is correct.

mushroomwig2963d ago

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is not a Sony owned IP, they just partnered with Sony because they felt they couldn't fund the game otherwise.

mafia_pc2963d ago

It a Sony IP, check this :

http://www.trademarkia.com/...

and also you can read this here :

https://www.playstation.com...

"©2014 Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a trademark of Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC. Developed by The Chinese Room."

It's developped by The Chinese Room but the IP is own by Sony, just like Journey.

PC is really getting a lot of love lately and only thanks to valve and their steam.

starchild2963d ago

Yeah, the PC gets a lot of games that it shares with either the PS4 or the Xbox One. The overall library of games on PC is just awesome.

ShadowKnight2963d ago (Edited 2963d ago )

Lol its not an owned IP from Sony

Null19802963d ago

Not surprising. All of The Chinese Room's games prior were PC titles.

starchild2963d ago (Edited 2963d ago )

Yeah, I was disappointed when they announced it only for PS4, since I played their previous games like Dear Esther and Amnesia on my PC and was hoping to play their next game there too. I'm glad I will be able to afterall.

WeAreLegion2963d ago

Good. I want to play in VR. Excellent game.

Skate-AK2963d ago

Nice. Won't be too long until we get graphics comparisons showing the obvious though.

Kurisu2963d ago

Enjoy, PC players! It's a great game. The slow pace isn't for everyone but if you can get in to it then you'll be absorbed in to the atmospheric setting and unique story telling.

ShadowKnight2963d ago

You got that right about it being slow pace lol

Kurisu2963d ago

Yep, I can't deny that it's slow paced. But it's slow paced in a good way. Gives you a chance to take in that beautiful scenery :D

5 great video games set in the UK

David at SQUAD writes: "Over the past few months, I’ve found myself lost in a number of books set in my home-land of the United Kingdom. At first, it was by chance, but then I found myself seeking them out. Then I got some games in a few sales -- Assassins Creed: Syndicate and Vampyr, if you must know -- and realized I’d done it again. This got me thinking: does the video game industry do a good enough job of setting games in a diverse set of locations, and how many games are set in the UK anyway?"

Ubisoft's Zombi was set in London I believe.

geekmandem1414d ago

Yep, ZombiU was indeed. A game I actually saw recommended a few times. It's weird that it stuck with so many people.

Dying Light, Crysis 3, Battlefield 4 & Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture with Ray Tracing

DSOGaming writes: "These past few weeks we’ve been showcasing numerous games that were visually improved by Pascal Gilcher’s ray traced Global Illumination method/solution for ReShade. And today, since it’s a slow news day, we are bringing you four games that have been showcased with this alpha Reshade version. These games are Dying Light, Crysis 3, Battlefield 4 and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture."

Again Reshade is not Raytracing, is a screen space post processing effect. Thats like calling SSAO "Global Illumination"
