The GTA:MP development team talk to PC Invasion about the cancellation of the modding project following Take2’s legal action.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick doesn't think AI will reduce employment or lower development costs, and calls it "stupidest thing" he's ever heard.
They already have AI trained to do coding.......
How he thinks it's stupid is beyond me, Especially since we see it happening in real time.
I think maybe sometimes we give people in these positions too much credit when it comes to intelligence.
As long as it doesn't effect his inflated executive salary or his ridiculous bonuses I'm sure he's fine with it.
Grand Theft Auto V was released over 9 years ago, but the player base is largely intact due to regular updates to the Online Multiplayer. The game had some technical issues at launch, most notably a CPU utilization issue, but most recent chips shouldn’t have any issues running it.
Subscribers of the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus will lose access to a total of 12 games during the month of June, 2024.
indivisible was pretty neat. Cute artstyle, fun throwback to older RPGs, shame its leaving but it is on sale often
I'm not surprised by GTA V removal, Rockstar never allows this game to stay long on a subscription service.
They usually allow 4 to 6 months.
I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.
And there you have it folks! Because the ENTIRE online is built around those shitty cash cards they don't want anything or anyone to interfere with what could possibly be a huge gold mine for them.
Never mind that they haven't released a single new contact mission or any new races. Nope just an update with overly expensive crap and time limited to push sells of cash cards.
Take two I'll be buying ALL of your future games second hand, believe that. Any company that designs it's game around MT's deserves nothing less.
Those shark cards are crap, but the game definitely isn't designed around them.
If you look at this mod from Take Twos perspective it literally just looks like Gta Online except you get every thing for free. Honestly they could probably get back to work on this mod if they would just work in some way to have players need to make money just like in Gta Online. Give people the option to buy Shark Cards and bam they are back in business but people are so hung up on what they think is right and what they think is wrong with microtransactions that they forget that these developers still want to make as much money as possible.
