EGMR writes: "Bethesda’s first ever E3 appearance was an interesting one especially given that we knew exactly what to expect, but as we were asked prior to its beginning: were we ready for it? As the milestone in history that was their conference drew to a close I had a range of emotions and feelings swimming around inside me, and as much as my Fallout 4 hypo-meter was having a royal spaz attack, the more lucid part of my brain admits that despite a lot of triumph and goodness, there were some disappointing and concerning aspects of Betheseda’s E3 conference when looking at it overall."
Despite being verified for the Steam Deck, Fallout 4 has issues running on the OLED version of Valve's handheld device. Here's how it works.
Isn't this a better and easier work around?...
There is a partial workaround that adds the Fallout 4 launcher back ;to the Steam Deck version of the game. Players need to add “SteamDeck=0 %command%” to Fallout 4’s launch options in the game’s settings on Steam Deck. But it’s wild and not great that players have to do this just to change visual settings while playing on Valve’s portable PC.
Some PS Plus subscribers can now access the next-gen version of Fallout 4 after Bethesda addressed concerns on Thursday, but others have still been left in the cold.
This update on PC kills mods, they still didn't improve or fix the draw calls and if you have an RTX card the game still crashes unless you turn off debris.
So if you mod the game it now looks worse, plays worse, all of your saves are broken and the game breaking bugs are still present.
Yeah I've had friends rebuy the game because the ps plus didn't work and they used to own the last gen version sold off the physical after the PS plus pack included fallout when they got the ps5.
So overall I know ms has likely warned quote a bit from this error.
This game hasn't aged well. I was really looking forward to the update, but I'm just not enjoying it. I never did get on with the settlement building and raiders, and I still don't. I won't be going back to this now.
They aren't really missing much. I've been playing it for awhile and it's just a polished turd. Low effort, hyped up like a full release.
The next-gen update for Bethesda Game Studios' Fallout 4 currently has a bugged out Quality mode on Xbox Series X|S.
They have and they haven't just download 60fps and ultra setting mod and gane looks great
I noticed that performance mode on or off both 60fps which is best mode to use then?
I agree with the battlecry statement. Everytime they talk about it, I have no interest in it. But I disagree with the dishonored statement, it was more of a reveal of the game letting people know it exists and im glad it does. Im sure we will get more info about the game soon enough. But doom and fallout freaking 4 was amazing. It was a great conference regardless.
' If you feel I’m shitting all over your parade, well, I’m here to talk about games, not just worship them.'
That was unnecessary IMO :/
Bethesda already has a great E3 and Im not a bit disappointed.
Just with the announcement of Fallout 4, Dishonored DE and Dishonored 2 Im a happy gamer. Im hoping we get some news on Doom 4 maybe a new Wolfenstein.
Edit: just saw the Doom video ok ok...i mean how happy can you get..wiithout crossing over.
I am sorry they disappointed you but for me personally what they showed of fallout 4 was by itself worth their conference. But than they showed us more of doom which looked amazing and like old school doom games
I know they didn't show a game play of Dishonored 2, but I feel like that trailer was more of a confirmation that it's in development than anything else
Fallout 4 game play from Bethesda has put every fear that anyone had to rest.
Please don't set your expections too high because than thee is a bigger chance for you to be let down. Just don't over hype yourself
Fallout 4, say no more.
