See BS like this is what lead to people getting disappointed. Whiles SE has hinted that, they will have a major announcement on August 2 or 3, I see about a billion sites picking up that story and each adding their own spin to it.

It would be smart to just wait until its unveiled before celebrating. After that backstabbing announcement from SE about FXIII, ANYTHING can happen at this point.

I am so with you yanikins111 on the Legend of Dragoon 2 game. It has even been rumored for some time. If it is not that I hope it is at least the rumored game Dark Cloud 3 and True Fantasy Live Online from Level 5. Back a few months ago on IGN Level 5 talked about TFLO and said MS does not own the IP and that they plan on finishing that game.

So if it was one of these three RPGs I would be thrilled.

Well the games aren’t even out! That's the point!

It's like Gamespot or IGN etc saying God of War 3 has nothing on Heavy Rain, even though no-body knows any details on God of War 3. It wouldn't happen - they have more sense than that.

If this guy has managed to go hands-on with this 'new game', Killzone 2 and MAG and is able to make an informed statement then I will take back my original comment. However I doubt he has!

Maybe the graphics are better than what we've seen in Killzone. Maybe it's more impressive than 256 online. Maybe the gameplay is more innovative than inFamous.

well if it's to be considered major, it's either from a franchise, studio, or both that has gained a TON of clout over the years, so I'm guessing it's bound to be a sequel of some sort...unless of course the game really looks and seems that amazing.

I'd say Jak and Daxter or something to do with God of War, but two of the three games mentioned have a fairly heavy focus on the multiplayer, so I'd guess that multiplayer is a focal point of the game.

I'm done getting hyped up over things like this though, as one man's definition of amazing is different than mine, so I'll drink a tall glass of apathy and call it a day on this one. I'll be sure to keep my eyes and ears peeled, however I'm not expecting anything.

I'm going out on a limb and saying something related to GoW but as an MMO. Not sure if GoW as an MMO would be fun, but we'll see if this is the case

It's Syphon Filter for the PS3 in my honest opinion, it was hinted at in a older edition of PSM3 that Sony were "busting their butts" off to get a PS3 edition of Syphon Filter released by 2009, and not to mention that it matches nearly all of the tags placed with the game on the site.

It would probably be going against Splinter Cell Conviction, since the PS3 can't handle the game (or so they say). Syphon Filter has always been a good game and the PSP game was great. Indeed, this would be a nice exclusive among the many other PS3 titles.

I want Trico and Jax 4 as much as anyone.Big-time! However....... I want this game to be a whole "other" beast. We already know we are getting ico's next game and Jax 4 sometime down the line,so it would be even better that we are getting "yet" another fantastic IP to join Trico and Jax4....

When talking of Mag and 256 players online this game seems to have a heavy focus on the multiplayer side of things. With that you can "almost" rule out Trico and Jax 4.

As for a MMO.... If this game is going to have Killer eye candy I cannot see a MMO giving us that this gen....
