The game looks awesome. That gas station looks so real. I really hope the game is so damn huge with tons of things to do.

Zsana_chann3372d ago

Totaly agree with you but the hair looks like ps3 level. Look at the picture when noctis is having red eyes

KingKelloggTheWH3372d ago

It's a magazine scan, and it still looks great. Especially with the odd lighting.

vishmarx3372d ago (Edited 3372d ago )

those are magazine scans,
hair in ff15 probably wont be outdone in the entire gen,
unless its by another ff.the hair in this game have more joints than the entire body of a character.
take a look at 13 .nothing released comes even close to this date in terms of hair lol.
if theres one thing you can be sure off, SE will knock your socks off with graphics like always

PaleMoonDeath3372d ago

C'mon now, the hair looks amazing, better than anything on the PS3/360.

Eiyuuou3372d ago

+ the engine isn't in its final stage yet.

_-EDMIX-_3371d ago (Edited 3371d ago )

I'm ok with that. lol. We have to rememeber that for 8 years or so this game was a PS3 game.

I doubt they just started over from the ground up, I mean it having some dated looks in some areas is to be expected.

@Vishmarx-

"hair in ff15 probably wont be outdone in the entire gen"

errr..not really. Square will easily do a better job with a 100% FULL next gen game. This game looks great, but I'm sure they can do better with a FF that was made from the ground up next gen, vs a port from the last gen in a better engine.

They will easily have a better looking game next time around. (which is a great thing)

"+ the engine isn't in its final stage yet"

They will do better with their next gen that will fully use that engine vs this game that just using the graphics portion of it. I'm sure they can make it graphically look better when created from the ground up vs moved over from PS3 to PS4/XONE.

You mean one horned Behemoth right?

KiRBY30003372d ago

look again, its one eyed AND one horned.

NoctisPendragon3371d ago

This Behemoth has a story to tell.

tontontam03372d ago

WTF sharingan!!!! even his hair looks similar to sasuke's.

BABI-PANGPANG3372d ago

I would love to see some screens or videos similar to Final Fantasy vs XIII, with its black and blue color palette. Not saying I don't like what I see, but I thought the drammatic, more serious atmosphere was pretty cool and think it would be a shame if they decided to drop it.

Anyway, can't wait to get my hands on this game!

Irishguy953372d ago

I agree I thought the darker tone suited the character design more. Even so its not a big deal I guess

Eiyuuou3372d ago

Let's hope it's still in it!

WizzroSupreme3372d ago

Noctis looks like he could either be really awesome or super annoying. Hope he's not Hope 2.0.

kowan3372d ago

Well he is not Emo or something. He's the loud one, the whiner and the careless dude in the group. So yeah so not like hope. You can watch the old versus 2011 trailer where they show lots of gameplay and you will hear him a lot in it. He's the one shouting all the time.

jambola3371d ago

He kinda seems to me like a person who is usually quite calm but really like when he can let loose in battle
mostly because in one of the first trailers in the fight against soldiers he is flying around and teleporting and stuff, but when he finishes it he goes back to his throne and looks almost bored.

NoctisPendragon3371d ago

Noctis changes (alot) during the story , it is almost 100% sure .

BABI-PANGPANG3371d ago

From what I've read he's a pretty introverted guy. A bit shy around people who he's not familiar with, but can have great fun with his buddies.

Glad that I absolutely can't stand subscription services.

Petebloodyonion26d ago (Edited 26d ago )

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

SonyStyled26d ago

Pay-per-view was almost cheaper than the cost of gas and rental fee from Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn’t exist today. Are you being sarcastic?

Final Fantasy XV Review – A Royal Road Trip

Gary Green said: With my fondness for (most) Final Fantasy games and my side goal of finishing off games in my collection with loose ends, a return to Final Fantasy XV seemed inevitable. It also serves as my third Final Fantasy platinum trophy after VII and VIII, a reasonable substitute since Final Fantasy IX is nigh on impossible to master.

Final Fantasy 15 director reveals why he left Square Enix, and announces he's working on 2 new JRPGs

Final Fantasy 15's director has revealed why he left Square Enix back in 2018.

Hajime Tabata famously resigned from Square Enix two years after Final Fantasy 15 shipped in 2016. In a special livestream at the time, Tabata announced his decision to resign from the company, cancelling three of four new story-focused DLC episodes for Final Fantasy 15 in the process.

FF15 is like FF13 its subjective people either like it or hate it.

raWfodog158d ago

I liked it. I haven’t played the royale edition yet but I’ll get around to it one day.

gold_drake158d ago

no no, 15 wasnt trash.

15 had a tremendous difficult development.

FinalFantasyFanatic157d ago

I really believe 13 was better put together and more complete than 15 ever was.

EternalTitan158d ago

Found the pathetic troll.
How is your jobless life going?
Dot worry, you will never get a job or a girlfriend haha!

Hofstaderman158d ago

Man inherited a train wreck and was expected to release this game in under two years after it spent a better part of a decade in development hell. At one point there was even plans to make FFXIII Versus a musical. He did what he could.

TheColbertinator158d ago

I didn't care much for XV and I always wanted the original vision of Versus XIII but I think the dev team did what they could to salvage the project

Inverno158d ago

And yet people still blame him for the game turning out the way it did, rather than SE for the horrible mismanagement of 13 and Namura for being overly ambitious.

Dwarrior158d ago

Whatever the behind-the-scenes went on over the many years, at the end of the day it was a radical change in direction that I could not go along with. Also why I never bought 16.

gold_drake158d ago

this is also why Sakaguchi (spelling) left.
