Dying Light Is "Scary Big" According To Dev; Call of Juarez Discussed For PS4/Xbox One

Dying Light's Lead Game Designer explains how huge the game is, comparing the slums alone to the vast area of Dead Island. He also teases that Techland have plans for the Call of Juarez franchise for the PS4 and Xbox One thanks to the improved Chrome Engine 6.

No shit i played dying light at PAX with headsets and it was people behind me and i still was scared of the night or DURING the day. They can just crab you from behind. And this was just a alpha footage. Cant wait for the full version. The sound in the backround was sick too. You Heard screaming zombies and people , i just wanted more but soon we get more !!

I am particularly interested in features such as zombies reacting to your voice on the mic. Now I'll have to do without party chat, but the idea that my friend can be getting surrounded and me, along with my hero complex, can swoop in and distract them is super cool.

While I am no Tryhard, I do hope that they have a hard difficulty setting, so as to add to the tension.

Regardless, I need more coop on my PS4, and this one has been a long time coming.

I hope they make a new Call of Juarez game just nothing like The Cartel even Gunslinger was good with it's cartoony looking self I enjoyed it even a remaster of Gunslinger would be cool a remaster of Bound in Blood would be even better

It did not look that big? I have been trying to watch videos to see how big the map is and I was excited to see that downtown skyline in the map but it looked like just when they were about to reach it they dead end into a tunnel and you could not even go there. Looked like a small shanty town with some various types or architecture on different parts of the map... maybe Im wrong though, maybe that was just part of a demo?

I saw the video where they ran corner to corner on the map, as well as showed the entire map on the screen. I remember thinking it was small by todays open world standards.

Oh well, game looks amazing!

I bought Call Of Juarez: The Cartel for £1 from Blockbuster in a closing down sale. If they weren't closed for good the next day, I would have returned it.
