Nate Thompson's video game collection fills almost the entirety of his Grand Forks home. From first-person shooter to sports games to adventure games, Thompson has just about every kind of game one could imagine. In all, he approximates he has collected 45 percent of all of the games made for the original Xbox, and in total, has roughly 1,500 games in his collection.
Thompson, 35, has been gaming since 1983. Through gaming he has made connections and friends he said he wouldn't have met otherwise. He no longer feels gamers are, or should be, stigmatized. Now, virtually everyone is playing video games — males and females, single people and families, young and old.
