UM writes: BioShock has been one of the defining game series of this generation, and it’s one of the few that have propelled games into “art,” though the definition of that word can be debated to death for all eternity. But BioShock was one of the most prominent series to take on serious literary and philosophical concepts in a way that manifested themselves in both the worlds of Rapture and Columbia. We will probably see another BioShock game at some point, but with Irrational mostly scattered to the winds, it won’t be the same, and the original game and Infinite will be the two lasting memories of the series for years to come. Probably not BioShock 2. We don’t talk about Bioshock 2.
Naturally, the game has spawned legions of fans over the years, and as such, there’s a huge community producing fantastic fan art related to the series. The art deco style of the game is simply gorgeous and lends itself to imitation. Or at least it would if I knew what “art deco” meant. (Googles). Oh yeah, that’s pretty accurate.

Gareth, Justin, and Michael at Skewed and Reviewed look at timely and topical entertainment news on their latest show including the latest video game movie and news of another in the works.
The movie was absolutely garbage !!!
BH needs to do better - since Halloween Ends - Exorcist , Freddy is Shyte - STOP IT !!!!
Twinfinite: “War may never change, but the prices of rare games do!”
"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"
1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.
I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.
Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.
Love this fan art
I'm looking forward to seeing another BioShock game in the future
Sweetness. I like the 2 stuff better than the homage to infinite which feels more 'commercial' than 'fan art' IMHO
And Bioshock 2 was great by the way. We DO talk about it. It improved the game in many ways, and in many ways was better than Infinite.
But, as my favorite series of all time, I do hope that some company makes a story driven 1st person shooter with insane immersion and rpg elements. Bioshock was almost the absolute perfect blend of everything I love about video games.
Infinite needed an equivalent to the camera, save anywhere, and more balanced enemy encounters, and it would have been right there with the 1st two. To me, Columbia is just as memorable as Rapture.
I want them all remastered on 1 disc..
.including number 2.
