Sports games regularly sit at the peak of top-selling charts in the video game industry, and none more so than 2K Games' NBA 2K.

Back in the mid 2000s Sega and 2K Sports’ NHL 2K franchise was the best video game hockey series around.
But this game sucks.
The 2K series has been the underdog of the sports market for the last decade or so, playing second fiddle to the elephant in the room named EA. Premiering on the Dreamcast way back in 1999, the series has evolved, improved, disappeared and has now resurfaced. Now it’s back on the Android and iOS.
