Yeah except I think it will be more to do with all the price drops and free game promotions MS is getting ready to hit the market with that will help a little. SSO looks like it could be a good game, but never, not even once has an Insomniac game ever been a system seller and to be honest their quality of games has been in decline. All the other games will give it a teeny tiny bump for that week of those releases then it will be back to business as usual. This is very premature, but this may very well be the last gen MS is in the console business. Sorry, but investors, which call the shots, won't be happy if it sits near OG Xbox numbers by the end of 4 years..

Sunset Overdrive will flop, i couldn't give a sh*t about Forza and everything else gets ported to PC or even PS4 like Plants vs Zombies. next year is when there will be plenty of PS4 exclusives. for the time i'm going to struggle to play all the games in 2014 nevermind PS4 exclusives in 2015. enjoy your Halo and Gears of War on Xbox One which aren't even made by their original creators anymore.

The Wii sold almost 21 million it's first year. The PS4 is still trending well behind the Wii. Nintendo wasn't losing $2.14 billion every year. Sony is already cutting back on AAAE games for the PSVita. They will most likely cut back on PS4 AAAE games as well. Why do you think they are supporting so many Indie games? Because Indie games are cheap to support. I don't hink the PS4 is going to have the huge amount of AAAE that the PS2 or PS3 had the previous generations. Most of the exclusive Sony have been promoted have been Indie games. They rely on 3rd party support to fill the void.

This is such an odd comment. I haven't seen Sony "supporting" indies as opposed to helping them port games or whatever, unless that's the support you mean that doesn't mean the first party studios are aren't working. I think that 6 exclusives in one year is party darn good if you ask me. (InfamousSS, KZSF, LBP3, DC, Bloodbourne, and TheOrder 1886). Where in there does it look like they're slowing down? The "indies" are great to add to the catalog and for something different. I don't know, I see MORE AAA games than for the PS3 and maybe even the ones before it. This gen is looking good so far, although it has started slow

Here's the thing about market share. He who has the larger install base tends to be the golden goose. It's happened with the PS2, it had the larger base, and thus devs flocked to it.

Twitter's base is large and people love using it. FaceBook has a huge base, though personalty I dislike it, but that won't stop others from caring.

It's kinda early to tell with neither the PS4 or XB1 being a year old yet. But so far devs are making more games for the PS4 because it has a much larger install base to sell to. If the indie & aaa titles are selling better on one platform over another, an exclusive agreement might well be unnecessary. Unless of course... you're on the other team.

I know everyone is bashing my comments and think I'm lying about the AAAE Ps4 games, but the comments about there being less PS4 AAAE games came from Yoshida himself. Someone wanted links. Here is the link for Yoshida's interview. They are focusing more on Indie games because of the huge cost of AAAE games. I never said they wouldn't have AAAE exclusive games, as they obviously will. All I said is there won't be as many as the PS2 and PS3 had the last 2 gens because of costs.

Let me give you an example. If XO had a Titan Black,16GB RAM, Intel 3960 CPU I swear you still had no chance against PlayStation. Germany is the home of PlayStation. My people love that name thats it.

He was saying he has both consoles like me and was telling the people mp games looking much better on XO. He was right because he bought TLOUR and Forza 5 at the same time. I talked to him I told him that I agree with him. He told me

"dont waste your time no one will not understand this untill see the same game on same screen. Even my heavy PS4 fan friends admit the most XO versions look much better after I showed em. Dont waste your time to reveal this in this country"

Console is addiction my guess. If you got used PlayStation you go with PS no matter what. The same for Xbox. Thats why they keep choosing to buy PS because they still have habits from the older versions.
