Sony Tries Its Hand at Changing What's in Yours
When the Wii was announced and the concept of its controller was revealed to the world, many a gamer said that it was a gimmick. I thought it was a gimmick. Maybe you did as well. Once the Wii was released, the console began selling like wildfire. Much of its success was attributed to that crazy Wii-mote that was able to strike a cord with the "casual gamer." Apparently Sony has gotten the message.
ScreenRant's Stephen Tang writes, "The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be releasing for a while, and in the meantime, the modding community has been making Skyrim into a next-gen game."
That’s just laughable to me. I think they’ve squeezed all they can out of an 12 year old game
"Easily" because they see mods, says the gamer. To heck with licensing, terms agreements conditions, etc. all you need to do is belive in mods. Yeah, so real superficial BS yo.

Sony owns a fair few iconic franchises - many dating right back to the original PlayStation. But while we’re pretty familiar with the likes of ongoing series such as God of War, Horizon, and Gran Turismo, there are plenty of PlayStation franchises that haven’t seen the light of day in a long time. Indeed. We hear this “underutilized” talk as if every old franchise should have a comeback or reboot.
When new IPs start looking like Concord, you can't blame people for wanting another Resistance or Killzone instead.
J&D and Resistance are good ones. As much as I love these, though, I'm not sure they would payoff without an enormous marketing push. Younger gamers today do not have taste and the older gamers that would appreciate these might not be enough. But yeah, I would day 1 Resistance.
Well that’s just the consequence of consistently producing new IPs isn’t it. Not all studios can be or want to be like polyphony digital who made gran turismo all the time.

Still baffling they cancelled Twisted Metal, Factions 2 and Spider-Man Multiverse LS game but thought Concord looked good enough.
Ape Escape, Parappa / Lammy, Gravity Rush, good times. Always hoping for them to make a return, or at least similar type games, such as the newly-announced Astro Bot, but one game isn't enough. Bring back the joyfulness of the 90's era of gaming.

Black ops 4, because it was the last cod of duty I was able to dominate with a +2 k/d ratio. Before all the freaking cheating started to happen. It was nice catching people off guard and shooting at them first and getting the kill. Unlike now, where I shoot people first, but they gun me down with less hits, less time, literally feels like they can kill me in a split second. At times, they are able to run away after me shooting them way more than necessary, yet, the second I'm spotted, I'm dead, there's no me running away to cover. They can do cartwheels, summersaults, backflips and gun you down perfectly. They can shoot you across the map with perfect accuracy. They can jump around like morons and gun you down without even having to correct their aim. They have superman split second perfect reactions. That's the best way to describe it, everything they do is spot on perfect. They can spam and spray (no praying) their gun from far away, because they have no recoil or bullet spread. It always feels like I have to aim and also correct my aim when moving around, while these pricks don't have to do the same.
And yes, I know how to play fps games. I dominated many fps games like: Resistance 1&2, kz 2&3, Socom, MAG, Crysis, Gotham City Impostors, blitz brigade etc. all with 2-4 k/d ratio. Kz2 (lag input controls) and resistance (no aim assist in resistance) being the hardest and were the games I reached either close to a 3 k/d ratio or above.
I truly got to enjoy blacks ops 4 and got my money's worth out of it. Afterwords, I would either stop playing cod games after a while, because of the cheating, or would skip buying cod games for a year or two before buying another.

Both companies "would" be doing the same thing really...let's see how this plays out.
...about 3 dozen people who'd get a 360 or PS3 right away if they had some Wii-like games with a Wii-like controller. Could you imagine how BEAUTIFUL the games would look? I can and I for one would welcome this peripheral if it does nothing but give my wife a reason to play a game with me as well as keep me from having to buy her a Wii.

My home is wii free as well my friend. I, for one, would like to see this controller. You know how all the games on the Wii look a little cheesy??? You know the wii sports bowling where some of the characters don't even have legs? It's basically lego bowling. Well imagine a bowling game on a BD disk, PSN capable in full HD? I'm kind of excited.
Well if Ps3 really does come out with Wii style controllers.. They may not be the first but I think they might be the best.. Ps3 has one edge over 360 and Wii.. 360 and Wii can only support 4 players.. Ps3 with its bluetooth, can support up to 7 peeps and maybe more with a firmware update..
So motion controller 7 friends and a party style game.. Ps3 could smash the competition..
They would just have to market it well.. Push the 7 peeps and Blu ray
