TeamXbox writes: "For a game so cute you want to pinch its cheeks till they bleed, Roogoo will have you swearing like a sailor with his tackle in a vice. I felt more guilty getting mad at it than that time I melted my neighbor's My Little Pony in the microwave. Actually, I don't feel bad about that at all. You won't feel bad about unleashing a blue streak on Roogoo though. The game may be tough, but more from being challenging than frustrating. And a well designed puzzle game that offers challenges like this one does, wrapped up in an ultra cute package is just the kind of thing that makes Xbox Live Arcade so great.
The concept behind Roogoo is pretty simple. You have a series of rotating discs that have shapes cut into them. Blocks matching those shapes – square, circle, star, heart, etc. – fall from the top and you must rotate the discs with the right and left bumper buttons to match them with their corresponding holes so they can fall through. Pretty simple, right? Not so fast, chum. Roogoo ups the ante with enemies who block holes, moving doorways and all kinds of other obstacles to drive you nuts. I challenge you to give up on the game though. Like any good puzzler, it's more addictive than bacon-wrapped crack."

Game Freaks 365 writes: "The Wii has seen its fair share of party and puzzle games succeed on the system. Perhaps the ultimate one, Boom Blox, was in mind when the developers at SpiderMonk made Roogoo: Twisted Towers. Unfortunately while the two games share a cutesy art style, Roogoo plays nothing at all like Boom Blox. While Roogoo is pretty fun to say, it is considerably less fun to play."
