Wii U deals and sales on Nintendo, Amazon, Target, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Groupon, Frys, RC Willey and eBay.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."
I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.
there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.
nintendo needs their bangers early on
One of the biggest releases of the year, Starfield, is days away from its full global release, with owners of its Premium and Constellation Editions already having had early access for a couple of days, and unsurprisingly, the excitement surrounding the space-faring RPG’s launch has resulted in increased hardware sales for Xbox as well.
It's to be expected software especially really hyped software always drives hardware sales and that's a fact! Xbox for many years has been lacking the software side so the hardware sales has always suffered..
I'm curious to what the numbers will end up being at the end of this month. That'll tell the story.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has been out of action for a decade, so it's time to look back at 2013's Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
Sam Fisher is evidently the most skilled stealth operative because no-one has seen him in his own game for years
The entire mark and execute system belonged in another game.
It’s cool, but the polar opposite to how Sam Fisher initially handled.
The original trilogy made shooting very, very difficult, yet a viable option, which ultimately motivates stealth.
The mark/execute system makes shooting stupid easy, to the point of why would you even bother trying stealth as an alternative?
The sad part is that I actually really enjoyed the last game, Blacklist. It may have lacked the iconic voice but the gameplay was excellent, and blended stealth, action and a mix really great compared to most games, where none of the three options felt like the wrong way to play. I really hope they either produce a remake of the original game or a proper sequel.
Great deal on pro controllers. I could use more of those for guests :)
Splinter cell blacklist is amazing. The early multiplayer issues have been fixed, and single player is one of the best I have experienced.
How is Mario Kart 8 every one :)?
Going to grab it tomorrow from Frys.
Anyone thinking they want the steering wheel from Target for MK8 should temper their expectations. The one I went to was out of them and said a very limited quantity had been sent and I went on the day the game came out. It may be different for other locations but it's just something to keep in mind.
The original target I had my reserve didn't get their shipment so I had to go a little out of the way to another. Got my copy of the game, steering wheel, but no $5 gift card. What a bummer but me and my kids are having a blast on MK8. I've not been this involved in a game with them for awhile. God bless you Nintendo. Thank you for bringing families together especially mine.
