Transistor Review - Giant Swords Rock | Worlds Factory

"Transistor could’ve been a legendary game, but as it is now I can’t help but feel a few wrong turns during development have somewhat hampered a game which could have been an instant classic.

It's still fun to play and nice to look at, but don’t expect a revelation in gaming."

Well that's kind of disappointing. 79/100 isn't terrible but I was hoping it would be a bit better than that. I'll still give it a go.

Thing is, it's short and the plot is just too abstract.

Other than that though, the skill customization is great and the art work is fantastic.

I'm a bit disappointed by the game to. Maybe it's my fault for expecting another game on the level of bastion. The combat just feels out of the control of the player, there isn't really any good way to avoid damage, it's all about killing before getting killed. The fun part of the combat is actually gearing up for it, once in a fight, I find it quite bland.

I'd recommend this game to anyone. It is short(5-6 hours) but the new game+ is fantastic and there are plenty of challenges that make me want to come back to cloud bank

I'd wait for a discount, but yes, it's very good!

The main thing that captured my attention about this game is the colours and music. If the music is exceptional I might consider getting it.
