A few seconds of new footage after a year of wait... :/ Are they even working on this game? When they showed it at the last E3, I was pleased to see some gameplay. However, once again the game is missing in action for almost a year. We got the same trailer with a few seconds of new footage at TGS 2013 and they do the same thing now. WTH is SE is doing!? I really hope they do not do the same thing at E3 2014. They are killing this game with their snail-paced development!

Every time I see this game, it just looks like a big mess. And the character models are pretty lame, too. I can't tell if this is a nice PS3 game or a bad PS4 game. SE needs to step it up with this one. FF has been dying slowly since FFX.

Animations need work, hit collision needs even more work and the environment, while having some destruction is blunt and tasteless. Maybe its the low rez video. We'll see.

However, Its the 1st time in years that I m actually interested in an FF game. Lets hope they wont rush it and give us a great one.

Pretty much the same footage shown at Last E3 with a few seconds of new gameplay.

I got this horrible feeling that SE might be showing the very same (but slightly altered) footage at this years E3.

Imo, the game will not live up to it's hype nor the expectations of it's fans.

I personally believe it will only feature half of the content it was supposed to have because of time constraints and mismanagement of it's teams.

* Different and varied weaponry (pilebunkers, rifles, throwing knives, katanas etc)

* Magic like the past FF titles such as Fire -> Fira -> Firaga.

* Vehicles you an actually drive around in the worldmap to get around.

* Or character specific traits like prompto being the only one who can aim with guns and rifles for weakpoints or other chars being resticted to certain weapons while Noctis being the only one who can use them all around.

Mismanagement sure, but time constraints? Having a game in development for this long without a release date deadline isn't what I imagine as being 'constrained'.

Also, I don't think FF fans have unrealistic expectations for this game. All they want is the return of features that made the older games great, which this looks to be delivering.

I think it's more like, Tetsuya knows what he's doing. One delay can already be explained by moving it to next gen. I'm sure that knocked two years off of when it would have come out for ps3.
The rest of it, to me, just seems like a great game designer taking his time. I have no reason to doubt this game's quality. It has never looked "worse" than it did before. It's just simply taking it's time.

Music sounds almost exactly like Kingdom Hearts Hallow Bastion theme!

Gameplay looks like a mix of Kingdom Hearts and Crisis Core, heavily inspired by FF: Advent Children.

All I care about now is the story and characters because god knows I don't want a repeat of FF XIII!

There is nothing tying XIII and XV together. The directors interpret the mythos however they feel. Type-0 and XIII had nothing in common but they both derive from FNC.

XIII and XV have as much in common as VII and IX have in common.

This game has only been in full production since 2011 despite being announced long before that. Only the core staff were working on it until then, basically just doing proof of concept work and setting the stage for full production. Prior to that, SE had devoted their staff to FF XIII/XIII-2.

In my opinion, S-E already had a great RPG with action battles with Star Ocean. But they left that one out because it didn't generate enough profit. So what we're left with is S-E putting all their eggs in the same basket and delivering games like XIII and XV, that are excellent games in their own rights (XV probably will be), but not what's expected from the series it belongs to.

Remember the first trailers of XIII? The battle system was full real-time back then. They reverted it to active time for the release, and only got it right in LR.

There's a chance that the final game won't work exactly like the trailers. Only time will tell.

QTE´s might take place in certain actions like in Kingdom Hearts but they have to be timed at the right moment.

Certain actions like defending or countering a specific enemy attack (like we see in the trailer) are great inclusions in my opinion that adds more strategy to the gameplay.

I want to see Tetsuya Nomura's vision for Final Fantasy. Hope it includes a classic world map with lots of hidden locations and quests. Chocobos, airships, the works!

This is SquareEnix's make or break game for me.
