I still have my Grim Fandango in perfect condition. One of the best games ever in the genre. So effing funny.

WolvesDude3730d ago

Out of that list I still have Freelancer, which I put loads of hours into and thoroughly enjoyed and Blade Runner.

Freelancer!!! Wow. I still play that game from time to time. Still mint disk. Might even have swat4 on disc. Free version I got with a graphics card as I remember lol

LAWSON723730d ago (Edited 3730d ago )

I might have to check out Blade Runner game

WeedyOne3730d ago

How can you have this list and NOT have Deadpool in it?

Deadpool isnt even that old and it was pulled from all digital stores at the end of 2013.

That game had such a short sales life...

Denton563730d ago

Well you see, I mainly had two pieces of criteria for this list:

1. Games primarily known for their PC releases.

2. Games that were actually good.

Deadpool didn't really meet either requirement I'm afraid.

devileyed3730d ago

I recently found SWAT 4, hidden ad dangerous 2 and the entire conflict series on amazon and instantly ordered them. It's just funny seeing this piece considering my friends and I have been discussing this a lot lately.

WeedyOne3730d ago

There was a pc release of Deadpool.

The game wasnt OMG good, but the people who played it said it was at least worth a play through.

Just figured that since the game had such a short sales life it would have been recognized on the list. Seems you were aiming for old school games though so I understand why.

Mafia 4 should have a retro 90s setting inspired by The Sopranos

Mafia 4 should reinvent the open-world crime game with a now-retro '90s setting like The Sopranos, just like Rockstar did with the '80s GTA: Vice City

It's been leaked that it'll be a prequel to Mafia 1

MadLad623d ago

Yeah.
I'd be happier that they didn't try to take it too modern.
Even when they did 3, all issues aside, but I liked the world and narrative they built around it. I just don't want to see them go past that era.

The storie of Don Salieri? Or even Pauli or Sam

PhillyDillyDee623d ago

I hope it takes place in the 1890s. And its a western. And its not about the mafia. Why dont we have more high quality western games again?
