Details on Final Fantasy XV's English Voice Acting Surface: Production Could be Faster than Expected

Looks like Square Enix is already working on the voice acting of the upcoming JRPG Final Fantasy XV.

I feel the same. Really wish companies would quit removing the original voice work for games. My feeling is that you should always include the voices that the game was originally developed for then add the localization for what region they are selling to on top of that.

I would imagine this is a pretty good sign, something I didn't expect considering voice-acting often isn't done until quite late on (especially with foreign voice-acting, obviously a lot of Japanese voice-acting has been done already). This pleases me.

I understand. I want KH3 too but KH3 just started development last year ; they deserve more than 2 years to make it good man. FFXV has no excuse, I have been waiting for that game for 8 year, it has to be close to done by now.

I've been waiting for KH3 since 2005... I understand that it's development started pretty recently, but I feel that anyone who played KH2 knew that a proper third installment had to be coming, just that none of us knew Square would take SO long to start it.

All in all though, you're right. I want them to make it amazing, because it has to live up to fans expectations after all this time.

I doubt they're going for a worldwide release. Unless they plan on holding the Japanese version back until they add the usual changes they have in the English version of their games. They usually redo the lip syncing to fit English words, add in different music, and give the English version other changes.

I can tell you right now half of the Japanese ported games i play that are translated in english do NOT do redone lip syncing.

And we also have no idea if this is a "masterpiece" or not.

Lets just hope as fans of the series that the game if fun, the story absurd, and the characters quirky and yet somehow relatable.

On a side note does anyone else feel that a ffvii will come if this game sells really really well?
