While Steam’s store is known for offering many fantastic games, there are also games of unbelievably poor quality that go beyond the subjective bounds of personal taste and display a definitive lack of effort. Allowing these practically unfinished titles to be published on the platform creates a library of shovelware which lowers the reputation of Steam’s digital catalog.

I mean given the technical limitations of the 2600, ET isn't a terrible game per-se. But it does a horrible job of explaining just what the hell you are supposed to do.
Superman 64 on the other hand has zero excuses.. it's just a flat out terribly made game.

This crackdown 3 should be in that list for taking seemingly forever only for the finished product to look like a 360 game with hdr. crackdown 3 by far is the worst AAA game this gen. How did Microsoft botch a chance to show off the power of the X with this garbage?

it's not just that, it has ties to a developer that has a history of making unfinished games and abandoned when gets enough cash and thn start another project. also the trailer on youtube has comments disabled, forum mods are deleting any negative comment about the developers.

The devs REALLY shot themselves in both feet when allowing any ties to their game be related to, or influenced in any way, no matter how inconsequential, to that fat fucking manky prick of a Russian pig cock Sir-gay Tit-off. Do they not know how fickle gamers are? Those of us who have more than half a brain will cautiously distance ourselves from this possible shit heap.
I was anticipating this game until hearing this.... I'll wait and wade into reviews and gossip etc 6 months after its release to see whats what..if its even still around that is.
The War Z has a sequel on the way and the executive producer is trying to paint a pretty picture of its controversy.
Does it really matter? You don't have to buy them. It's not like it brings down the quality of the really amazing titles Steam offers.
I just wish Steam offered a way to filter out the Early Access games and software that are not games at all.
I don't see the problem here. Steam isn't responsible for these games. There is a review system in place now so the feedback should weed crap games out without Steam having to police bad games.
