Todd Mcfarlane Wants Spawn In Injustice, Also Confirms New Spawn Movie

GamerFitNation: In an interview with Antwand Pearman, legendary artist Todd McFarlane told GamerFitnation that he was working on not only a new Spawn movie, but a video game, anime and more. It’s also good to note that McFarlance expressed interest in seeing Spawn as an unlockable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

LOL Spawn hasn't been relative in over a decade...The time has passed for a Spawn movie that people might care about, especially after his bone headed idea to make a sequel that was a detective story with Spawn as a background character..I can't even remember the last time anyone cared about the book, which he doesn't even draw anymore

You do realize that the demographic for gamers is roughly men in their late 20's to mid 30's right? Meaning that most of us, in that demo, grew up with Spawn and Todd McFarlane. Regardless of the wrong turns that might have happened, Spawn is STILL a very good base for a character in a movie and game (if done right).

Spawn is very much alive and is just begging for a new shot at the movies. And seeing how the superhero trend & technology are in a better state (better than they were back when Spawn 1997' released anyways), the timing feels just right. Also Spawn is such an awesome friggin character. Original & just plain badass.

Man Rocksteady should definitely make a Spawn game.

Well since Spawn is powered by sin, hatred, anger etc. Kratos is beacon of all those so Kratos constantly powers spawn making Spawn nearly invincible to Kratos.

True. But Kratos has literally been killed twice!!! The dude walked out of hell like nothing. And Spawn is Immortal. Kratos' strength level is immense, plus he killed every god on Olympus & destroyed Earth. Granted Spawn did de-throne God & rebuild Earth in his own design...

So ones Immortal while the second refuses to die. And they both eat gods & demons for breakfast. Pick your poison. x)

If he does appear on Injustice, I hope they get Keith David to do the voice acting. And seeing how one of his abilities include feeding off of sin, characters like the Joker will be a walking power source.
