Edge of Twilight is one of the most exciting concepts we've heard in a long time. Promising to push the boundaries of videogame storytelling, the blurred moral lines and cinematic, world changing scope of this steampunk action adventure are an enticing prospect for any fan of gaming's artistic side.
After a prolonged development cycle, Edge of Twilight: Return to Glory ultimately falls short due to a lack of polish, not enough to write it off entirely. #edgeoftwilight #fuzzyeyes
Josh Griffiths writes: "It’s still amazing that a crowdfunding campaign sprouted out of nowhere for a game nearly a decade old. It was only in May 2016 that Edge of Twilight made a triumphant return on Indiegogo. Its developer, Fuzzyeyes, needed funding to finally bring the game out of developmental hell and release it into the world. Unfortunately for them, nobody seemed to care."
Indiegogo is one of the first crowdfudning sites, and the Angry Video Game Nerd seemed poised to make the site a dominant force. So what happened?
It's ludicrous to say Indiegogo is on a decline. You have to have had a rise first before you can have a fall.
