After a pretty awesome reveal at the VGXs this past Saturday, we finally received some more information about the HBO license that Telltale Games will use to develop a game based on the series. HBO and Telltale Games have entered a multi-year partnership.

HTC VIVE announced that HBO has partnered exclusively with VIVEPORT to launch an immersive VR experience based on the massive hit show “Game of Thrones”. Coming only to Viveport Infinity on May 31, “Beyond the Wall” allows users to be part of the action in Westeros and will be available to download for Infinity members as part of their subscription service.
Game of Thrones is finally over. The hit HBO original series was quite the cultural phenomenon, spanning over eight seasons.
I want to be excited about this but until gameplay mechanics are revealed, I will reserve my hype till then.
