Dragon Age Inquisition: The Evolution of Love

According to BioWare, the upcoming Inquisition sex scenes will be more tasteful and a direct result of interacting inwardly with another character, which makes me think that making love in the upcoming Dragon Age will be more focused on the feelings between two characters and not so much on the pleasures of the body.

bravo! i like games that step over this boundary :p its more real to us, to grow a relationship with your character and the people that surround them, so yeah thanks bioware!

Senyra3832d ago

Agreed. It's time for something new :P

NewMonday3832d ago

Witcher2 did it great they should learn from them.

anticlimax3832d ago

Witcher 2 wasn't exactly focusing more on a relationship than on sex now was it? The scenes with prostitutes didn't have any other function than wasting your orens and there were characters that offered you sex as a thank you.

I mean it was a step forward from DA but still, I feel the witcher series needs to take a step forward as well. No more 'You helped me out, let me thank you in the sack' storylines, ever.

NewMonday3832d ago

@anticlimax

I was talking about the scene with Triss, that was the best love scene in video games, it's not just about the pool but also everything leading up to it.

anticlimax3831d ago

The scene with Triss was well done, and it had a good build-up, I'll certainly grant you that.

In that case, bring back isabella, what a tease!

Senyra3832d ago

@NewMonday A bit too exaggerated for my taste but yes they definitely did a great job with the hot scenes.

Sketchy_Galore3832d ago (Edited 3832d ago )

What the hell are you doing, Alistair? You know you're not into that stuff. What is this, some kind of clumsy attempt to get back at me for leading you on then going and getting it on with Morrigan? Because it's not working....It's not.

Senyra3832d ago

LOL That actually made me laugh. It was actually Morrigan who made Alistar do it!! Don't blame the poor guy :P

NeXXXuS3832d ago

I'm hoping for more man + man relationships. Mass Effect 3 only had one...

Senyra3832d ago

Uh you had several in DA. Zevran, Anders and Fenris too if I'm not wrong.

NeXXXuS3832d ago (Edited 3832d ago )

Never played any of the Dragon Age games. And I'm specifically talking about the ME games. Sorry I wasn't straight to the point about that.

I love how my comment only got agrees but then someone offended downbubbled it for being immature. C'mon, can't you take a little sillyness?

linkenski3832d ago

Cool. I was dissapointed with the pretentious "wild love" scene with Isabela or Merill's lovey dovey Barbie love in DA2.

I hope the sex scenes in DA:I will be something in the vibe of Liara's pretty awesome sensual biotic intercourse in ME3... and hopefully with less abruptness #IWasDissapoint #SadFace

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02943d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007943d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation943d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus943d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
