Last year Sierra and developer Radical gave the Crash Bandicoot franchise a bit of a reboot on the Wii, PlayStation 2, and Xbox 360 with Crash of the Titans, a more action-oriented game that put more focus on brawler gameplay than the traditional Crash Bandicoot platforming from games past. Sierra and Radical have been hard at work creating the first follow-up to this design with the sequel: Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant, due this fall on the Wii, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS.
At a recent press event, Sierra gave IGN a brief look at an early version of Mind over Mutant. The pre-alpha build, running on Wii development hardware, showed off gameplay very similar to Crash of the Titans. Unsurprisingly, since Radical is using last year's game as a foundation for the sequel. The game is being created for the Wii first this time, so the developers have been able to squeeze a bit more out of the hardware – environments have significantly more visual detail.
Lex: How about let’s take a trip back to memory lane and see what were the best main Crash games.
Crash 3 Warped, and 2 are my favs for the main games
Crash Team Racing is amazing and Crash Bash is fun
Twinsanity And Ctr are my favorites (And still playing CTR from time to time). Not the biggest fan of the first 3 games,. Not that they are bad, But I rather play something like rayman legends or mario. They often have better precision to the platforming, and 60 fps has a lot to do with it. Also easier to get a sense of speed with those games while crash is a bit limited with his abilites.
Missed heaps of games including Crash Purple on GBA, Racing titles, Crash Bash and Crash Boom Bang on DS
2014 has seen renewed requests from gamers to bring back the once loved platforming icon, Crash Bandicoot, and A Pixelated View wants to find out why.
Last good game for me was Twinsanity
The music and gameplay was fantastic...plus Cortex in that game was hilarious
"It's true...blondes do have more fun"

GamesAsylum rounds up the best deals on the Xbox 'Games on Demand' service
Oh dear these prices are awful, and that on offer?
Steam has the right idea when it comes to sales, these are old games
They aren't on offer. These are the usual prices which are vastly cheaper than buying these games at retail.
