I thought the first two were great, and challenging. The third was utter drivel which lost its grit by focusing on trying to make it a 'heavy' emotional story experience which failed and to top it off an extremely anti climactic ending. Nothing says challenge like being able to casually wander around an enemy tank. But is is Gearbox and they do, as of late, pump out the garbage.

I loved the first two so much. I just wish Gearbox would take this series back to its routes.

Imagine a game with next generation visuals that has fully open, historically accurate towns and villages in France and says to you this is the situation, these are the odds, here is what is available to you, figure out how to win.

I never thought I would miss WW2 shooters but I would take a high quality one next generation no doubts in my mind. Just a shame that instead Gearbox has shown that cartoony Inglorious Basterds version of Brother in Arms, That is NOT where this series should go at all.

Historically accurate from the past is tough to truly know and judge especially the farther you go back because history is written from the people in power and doesn’t mean it’s the truth just the narrative they wanted to tell.

I don’t care about historically accurate in most games because they are games not biographies or history books . Just make the game fun , good gameplay and such .

Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t historically accurate in many things but I loved the game . Many examples like it .

Finally ... the much needed conclusion to Baker Company's story.

porkChop980d ago

It's been way too long. They cancelled BiA: Furious 4 to make Battleborn and look how that turned out. Though I do hope this new entry is more like the proper BiA games, rather than F4 which was basically Borderlands meets Inglorious Basterds.

FINALLY!
Please let it be true to the series. Don't wreck it like Rainbow 6. Can we get at least one tactical single player shooter with squad commands?

Socom is another that could hopefully be it.

Oh my God!! Freaking finally!! I loved the BiA games especially RtH30 and EIB

Brothers in Amrs and Earned in Blood were brilliant. The amount of passion that went into them by Gearbox, who was then a young company, was incredible. The franchise just died after that which is sad. Hell's Highway just wasn't made with the same passion. And let's not talk about the cancelled BiA4, that looked so wrong on so many levels.
