Same thing DICE is doing against the PS4 when it comes to BATTLEFIELD 4 and you eat that as a true because?
BF4 is BF3 with little improvements.. there is no excuse why a current gen game can't do 1080p 60fps on the PS4. But dice are traying to win PC fans back since they now see a bigger community $$$ EA is going for it!$$$

Dev's have to make their Pc game run in low end Pc which are way weaker than a PS4 and they can enhance PS4 version and use more of it raw power and that's how PS4 version looks and plays better!

is a possibility! and they are not taking that time to enhance the Pc version because is not worthy"$" since only %5 of pc community has high end PCs.

And they are taking this advantage to gain sales from Sony side since DRIVECLUB has been delayed, ever since NEED FOR SPEED news start pop in out from nowhere to gain momentum.

a win win situation and only the 5% of the community get the middle finger from them, but i bet that %5 will also get a ps4 and they also bet for that and if they are fans of NEED FOR SPEED PS4 is the best way to go!

No, no excuse at all why a highly detailed LAUNCH TITLE with 64 players, huge maps, vehicles, and destruction is not able to do 1080p/60fps...because the PS4 is like as powerful as the sun, or something!!!

I played Need For Speed For Playstation 4, it really is better then the PC by miles. ALso I just noticed the edit mistake we did but there is a whole section of the interview talking about the PS4 version. I'll have it added to the article as soon as possible. Trust me I know how you PC guys are on N4G I wouldn't say it's better unless it's true.

It is back but from what I have seen its not very deep.

From what I've seen is it's just body paint/skins, wheels and your license plate. I said in another article I think GTA5 has more customization in it.

How is this even possible? I mean, you can throw more money into a PC and make it exponentially more powerful than a PS4. Sony didn't reverse engineer alien technology, and the dev kits have been available for awhile now.

@nick309 hit the nail on the head. The only POSSIBLE way a console version can be superior to the PC version is if they butchered the port.

@Whitefire is also right - the article and the video said NOTHING about comparing the PS4 to the PC version.

@BlackBible - can't wait to hear this whenever you've got the video/text to back up the claim. The only possibility I can think of is that EA is intentionally sabotaging their own PC version of the game; which is doubtful being that they are a public company and their shareholders would not appreciate that kind of waste in resources/brand appeal.

Sorry bro, no fanboy here... honestly, I am planning on getting the PS4 over the Xbox One.

I'm just stating facts.

It sounds like this is a case of the true fanboy attempting to label an honest gamer. I did look into it as you suggested in your below comment, and found a collection of very questionable comments. In fact, the only one that actually states the PS4 looks better than the PC, despite the PS4 version being buggy, is Polygon. (Perhaps this is how they are making good on their TLOU snafu with Microsoft?)

Even to say it looks "just as good" like Videogamer.com did, seems far-fetched, but, let's assume this is true.

If EA releases NFS: Rivals and the PC version doesn't scale with improved hardware over time, shame on them. How could NFS look better on a PS4, when the next gen consoles are already struggling to crack 30 fps on non-1080p output resolutions?

Meanwhile, I could fire up my SLI'ed 780's and play this, or Battlefield 4 on a 2560 x 1440 display smooth as butter... so it is very* difficult for me to believe that ANY next gen game will look better than the PC version, unless* it has been improperly developed.

Keep in mind, I'm a current 360 owner, likely purchasing a PS4, with a gaming PC.

Ok... so, for $500, you're telling me that a PS4 can go toe to toe against a triple SLI beast-mode PC with all of the newest hardware costing 10x as much???

Here's the truth. There was No Xbox One version available. He told us before the camera rolled PS4 was the better version. After the camera rolled he made it seem like he was talking about both consoles. I understand if you're a fanboy ( Not saying You are) how it must sound but it's the truth. also Other media was there and they all reported the same thing. "PS4 is better then PC." check out it out for yourself.

Games are being made on pcs before being ported to consoles. If the pc ver is awful its the dev doing it on purpose.

I'm guessing that they made it on PC first (according to the specs of low end PCs) and then when they ported it over to the PS4 they realized that they could do a lot more so they worked on the PS4 without increasing the spec requirements for the PC version.

Other than that I can't think of anything else.

I'm just glad they aren't watering it down to X1 I mean its stupid to not make the game better looking on a more powerful console just so X1 players don't feel like they aren't getting a better looking game. This is where MS has made a mistake in not focusing on making the X1 a lot more powerful like ps4 and PC r but focused on that stupid cloud thing and kenect that in few years it's going to be dead and the cloud hardly going to matter as well.

It's funny reading some of the comments here. Some people are acting as if it's Bad News that the PS4 version Looks better than the PC. Look no one is saying that the PC version isn't good, they are Just saying that the PS4 version is better. I would considered this Good thing rather then get piss because it beats out your PC. The point is that people wanted consoles to be as good as a PC for a long time. Finally they are stepping up their game up be happy.

It dosent make consoles any better, it just shows how lazy some developers are. I can tell you exactly why they would it to look worse on pc... Because the console editions are more expensive. Im a console gamer for the record.

I'm also very interested in how the PS4 version can outmatch a high end computer. As a lifelong PC gamer, I've always believed that hardware was king, but in regard to graphics everything becomes a bit more complicated.

I need to spend some time trying to figure out performance issues in relation to hardware, as I'm no expert.

3 weeks to go for the PS4 (hey that rhymes..lol) and a week later NFS Rivals (hoping the Mustang Shelby GT makes a return in this version from hot pursuit).
