Creative Assembly have tried their hardest to try and top the best game that they’ve ever made. They seem to be on the right path, fixing many of the flaws and player complaints, whilst adding in many new and exciting features.

Being mad about a 10% chance for a female general is the worst look. The Rome: Total War II "scandal" is no big deal.
A lot of this stuff is legitimate criticism, and then the developers calling people names. In the end people will vote with their wallets.
The most stupid is that they complain that something is historically inaccurate while there are many other things that are inaccurate even more and they ignore them. In case of TR2 and female generals "problem" - that is sexism par excellence.
