In the end, GameSpy likes Universe at War: Earth Assault. GameSpys like the IP, the whole monster-movie feel of it, and the neat twist that the asymmetrical units, upgrades, and micro-management choices add to the RTS formula. But the 360 version's clunky control scheme and savage technical problems bring the game down, and none of the key issues from the PC release have been changed. The problems here don't outweigh the fun, but the margin is very thin.

But the savings are unbeatable. Just Cause2, Witcher 2, Plants Vs Zombies, Torchlight, Splinter Cell, blah, blah, blah. .. so many games I've purchased recently. It is almost like needing a fix, I am addicted to buying these discounted games! The only problem is that steam lists this game for $19.99 not $15.00
And even though I like Steam's crazy deals most of the time, you still have to sanity check Amazon.com, because they have this game for $7.23 @ the moment.

Right, like many of you (I’m sure), I can’t wait for the new Aliens Vs Predator game. I’ve really enjoyed the series and hope this new title won’t disappoint! So I’ve pre-ordered it via Steam out of laziness and habit. For some reason, they’re giving away some RTS I’ve never really paid any attention to with it. Universe at War: Earth assault. Um, well that’s nice.
It was a bad idea bringing this of all RTS to a console.
